About JMIT
Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering & Technology [JMIT], Yamuna Nagar was established in 1995 and duly affiliated to Kurukshetra University. JMIT is a chain of twenty-two institutions spread over Haryana, U.P, and Punjab and owe their existence to the munificent and philanthropic spirit of Seth Mukand Lal, a close adherent of Gandhi Ji. He came under the Gandhian influence in earlier twenties. Gandhi Ji had fondly nicknamed him "Pagle Bhagat". Seth Mukand Lal reportedly bore the entire expenditure incurred in the holding of All India Congress Sessions on the banks of river Ravi, Lahore in 1929 where a resolution for complete independence of India was adopted.

- The collection of books and other reading materials are being built at a fast rate. There are over 52,565 books and about 3,325 educational video cassettes & CDs with viewing facilities in the library. The library comprises of almost every academic program course books on each specialization.

- Volleyball:- Our team participated in KUK, the inter-college tournament from 24-02-11 to 25-02-11 held at G.N Khalsa College Yamunanagar.

- It is good, since my branch is instrumentation and control, which has a mix of electrical and plumbing electronics.
- For the internship, no companies were present in the college as it was an individuals choice whether to pursue it or not. However, the college was fully supportive in assisting the students in obtaining permission for the internship in any way possible.

- It was average; I didnt get any placements from the college. Instead, I got the job off-campus.
- Campus life is average since there are fewer students on campus, and the college solely emphasizes academics.

I have applied for nits and iiits but could not make it because of my jee mains rank which was 90000. When I didn't get admission in nits and iiits I decided to apply in this college as I had heard about this college from my neighbor. When I went there I was guided by faculty to their admin block. This college accepts JEE MAINS Exam and also consider class 12 score.

I had applied for vit vellore, ipu, cu,lpu,jmit and i got confirmed admission in all the colleges I choose jmit beacuse it was close to my hometown and it is pretty cheap than others with good facilities and it is semi government college While cu , lpu was very expensive and there were not good reviews. The admission process of jmit is very simple at starting of the admission some 2 to 3 seats are reserved on basis of 10 th class cgpa then rest of the seats are based on the class 12 cbse board percentage and jee mains percentile.At my time it was jee percetile above 60 percentile will be provided admission mine was 69.

There are so many colleges but I choose this college because I want that college that is nearer to my city and also better as compared to others. They are very discipline college.attendence must be 75% and proper uniform is mandatory and placement services is also our college. Admission process has been based on 12th ,jee mains exam . There should be atleast 75 % above marks in 12th standard and jee mains percentile 80 above should be there.

I applied for KUK UIET but the seats got full there . Choosing this college over other college was a good decision i think as the fees is less as compared to other colleges so a good option. No i didn't got any rejection from any other colleges i applied for other than UIET You can get direct admission on the basis of 12th class result and JEE SCORE or you can get through HSTES counseling
