Remarks :

The college offers good education , and it is a platform for students to perform well and show their talents through the events organised by the college and other colleges in the vicinity.

Entrance Preview :

I wrote NPAT , I got 1119 rank. The college is well known and I'd heard about it from my seniors and other counselors, and it also includes the location of the college. That is Mumbai the financial capital and its exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is pretty good. It takes finance and accounts into consideration , that is it covers for both these topics and gives us experience as well as knowledge in both of them and it's a renowned course and is accepted all over the world.

Internships Opportunities :

Well , I've still not done internship as I'm in the first year but I know that everyone do get good internships in our college. We have a separate committee for internships who keeps contact with the companies and tell us about the internships time to time.

Placement Experience :

The placement is quite good , though I've not been placed but I've heard that they have 100% placements with well paid salaries and in reputed companies. So they have a good hold on this aspect.

College Events :

The college has various events Vaayu is the biggest one of them, and its very much popular among other colleges and we have other events organised by various other committees like SRF , Placement Cell , Tech Club Etc.

Faculty :

The faculty is really good , they do not focus on bookish knowledge but try to give us practical experience and understanding of the subject. They know the subject properly, it could be seen in their examples and the way of their teaching.

Student life and academic balance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Accounts is the main reason I chose that subject .because there is a opportunity to get jobs in accountants or in banking sector.curriculam prepares very well .basic concepts to be improved and teaching methods are also very difficult to understand. The exams are very early due to that I can't complete course in a month also

Everything I said is true to my knowledge and I am not sure about anything as years have passed after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, one gets eligible for placement. No idea about the packages. And more than 70% according to me might have been placed. I am further studying the professional course and will be going into the profession of teaching.

Thane college

Remarks:

Very non fussy and dedicated to study type.of college with no nonsense approach to studies.

Admission:

I chose this college mainly due to proximity to my house which was then in thane. And also because the college had a fairly good reputation.Since I had got very good marks in 10th standard admission process was a breeze. Chose this course because I was very commercially inclined.
