I have nothing to mention wrong about my college life. I was totally happy and enjoyed while learning.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course was b tech in civil engineering. It was well structured curriculum. My faculty was too supportive and approachable We went to many industries located in Tamil Nadu as industrial visit For me. I haven’t appeared in any campus placement at that time just because of my personal choice. But trust me. My friends and besties got placement to their dream job and career like banking or manager level

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

Federal bank, info Sys, wipro technologies. These are just like examples. There are so many companies conducted job fair and placement assistance seminar and more in the final years

College Events :

We were conducted every festival celebrations in the college premises with almost full strength of the college and we enjoyed the functions at the peak. As a keralite we celebrated Onam. Christmas and anniversaries in the campus very colourfully. Still I’m remembering one DJ party by sun burn team. It was really owesome and memorable

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It was almost close to 4 lakhs including transportation and exam fee. I was paid in an installments first and in between I had some financial crisis too So management helped me to get the personal loan from my nearby bank through providing all the documents and guidance through campus office

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have opted for educational loan from a bank with the complete assistance from the college and management

Campus Life :

Being a normal average student. I was unaware of these things in my college life. I think 1:2 (male : female) ratio was there. Widely I guess. College also conducting re union parties to the previous batches. There was no gender and racial discrimination among students, faculties and managements

Hostel Facilities :

Firstly I opted for hostel. It was okay at that time. Being a family oriented person, I struggled to stay apart from my home. So Then I choose to travel daily through college bus because I have got my pick up point and drop off from my home door step

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. There was so many senior students helped me in several situations. Even now also we are getting touch either through WhatsApp groups or in facebook

Admission :

College campus was really environmental friendly near to a river shore. That’s the main point of attraction. Campus sorrounded with greenary and located in a cool and calm place. Faculty was really experienced and approachable. Management was given equal importance to curricular and extra curricular activities. I got the admission by last minute just because, I was really confused and anxious about the course and campus. So then I approached to a educational consultancy regarding assistance to choose about the course and college. I have got the right choice of my aim and ambition Even after the guidance of the consultancy They arranged me the lower fee structure just because I have scored better on my secondary school and got a better rank on my entrance examination After the admission I realized the fact that. I was placed in the right time on the right campus I have got the besties ever I had. Faculty was too young and brilliant at the same time, so that faculty was really approachable and understanding. I will surely refer my friends and families to this institution just because of the treatment care what I have got from the campus so far.’

Faculty :

Yea. Everyone was had their post graduation specialized in their respective department Faculty was young energetic friendly and understable. So that we can ask the doubts on time. They were giving the clarification very next hour or even after that day.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
