Remarks :
Overall good, drawback is whenever there is notice they give away day before, they make us rush during distribution of certificate, results and admit card.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We were the first batch of CBSE format under calcutta university, courses were changed but my college put its effort to make as comfortable, they able complete the syllabus makes revision too. All teachers makes the effort to make the chapters in a word format, maximum time we used had digital classes. Exam conducted through calcutta university. choosing accounting as my carrer will take me a better opportunity in commerce world like CA, CS, CMA, MBA ( which I am going to take in future), banking sector, business and many more.
Placement Experience :
Placement from big companies like pwc, deloitte, omni firm, indigo and health care centre and many more. The things is that they oranganised placement cell, but there is no confirmation to get the job. This year internship came from MYCaptain.
College Events :
Srijan, it is big event celebrated by our college. For hosting and judging we call celebrities like 2018 siddarth slathia a you tuber, 2019 stebin singer, 2020 abir chatterjee (tollywood actor). Then all different college participate in different events. like dance, singing nutak natak. Then freshments stall were put up there. Sponsership were haldiram, bhikaramchadmal, sky bag, gokul and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Expensive, total fee per year they had taken is 39000(three year it varies) through demand draft. Everything is included in this amount. No extra charges whole year for examination enrollment and etc. They even allowed for feeship form for poor bearer.
Fees and Financial Aid :
I didn't got any scholarship or I have taken loan against my LiC fixed deposit. Made a demand draft and paid.
Campus Life :
Its is girls college. Each department having 300 approx students. Sports room had everything. Playground have a basket ball coach, badminton net and there is small temple to worship and including swimming pool. Two computers lab with 70 computers each. Masters sector having apple laptop lab. Laboratories for science departments.
Hostel Facilities :
No. I had been staying in pg near by my college, walking distance. Rooms were good. 4000 is my rent, including electricity but excluding food and AC charges. Near main road from where, all buses transportation are easily available.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior are helpful, they were so good in each nd every field they guide us. They explained it every possible way they could. Ragging were strictly prohibited.
Admission :
Admission is based on merit list. I opted for 4 best college in kolkata and I got a admission in this top third college in kolkata. It is best for commerce. On 23rd June 2017, there was a verification day of my documents and step by step without any hasle they managed systematically all students, within a 2hrs. I got admission.
Faculty :
Faculty is highly qualified, our commerce department HoD is a CA and phd in accounts and lectures all pursued masters in accounts and one who takes maths and statistics, economic even they too masters degree in their specialiastion subject. They put all efforts like making pdf format, presentation to make us understand.
