Remarks :

Campus remains clean and restroom maintainance is poor. Anyway it is a pure government college so it has its funding to provide good atmosphere to students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and exam structure is autonomous here. Here city is not a industrial area so industrial procees based knowledge will not get here. placement some percent it will help but not on core jobs. yes, Ofcourse industrial visits are organised for students here were we get a hint about industries.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience :

Zoho, wipro, Infosys, Tcs and small startup companies. requirement is based on cgpa and aptitude skills. about 50 percent were placed. Some placement session organised by seniors not by campus.

College Events :

Thiran is a project mini ideas executive and innovative event were students make a model and execute their ideas and present the model to judges, annual fest, club fest such as shakcles and department symposium and annual fest is yugam every year name is changed according to the year theme. annual sports meet generally held between four year students and give team bond within year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee Structure is feasible and mode of payment is by challan or taking DD. there is no additional fees. yes the college gives the transparency in fee breakdown. Fee structure includes lab facilities, extra curricular activities, sport fee, tution fee etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Every college offers scholarship for students based on community and my college also providing it. Eligibility criteria is having no arrears in academics and having annual income less than 2 lakhs per annum. Average scholarship was about nine thousand per annum.

Campus Life :

College has gender ratio almost 2:1 and work shop held 4 per year and cultural activities held per department is twice in year and 1 common annual fest held in a year and students diversity is good and helpful and economic status for college is good as well and inter college and intra college competition were fair.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are bad and restroom are in worst conditions were tiles are broken and food is good sometimes. Hostel doesn't has a drinking water facilities. although the rent is feasible the quality is very poor.

Hostel Fee : INR 10000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes there is a great support from alumni and senior students, senior students encourage freshers to do team work with them and teach and establish work from us and alumni association also providing fund for projects.

Admission :

Actually I like Mechanical course here then I got seat by tnea counseling and it's a government institution and joined here at aug 2017. As I institution is one the oldest and nearby to my city. first the procedure to take admission is they welcomed the students with call letter from college and then fresher welcomed by seniors and staff members and then certificate verification process and fee process held

Faculty :

Faculty members are experienced in their work or subjects they undertook but they are not as good in delivering the subjects average age were about 30-45 and there qualified upto PhD and industrial experienced faculties are rare hereand some are certified.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
