Always Beauty Bishop and such a wonderful structure in the middle of the city. The birds and the green pastures surrounded this campus. It gives a pleasant and great feeling to us.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well structured and well-trained professors. Heber is a prestigious college that provides education to the poor peoples who were in the Rural side of TN. As per the UGC requirements, Heber provides an updated education system. About the curriculum and exams, Heber designed a separate department to control the entire exams.
Placement Experience :
In the placement division, Heber added another department called the placement cell. This department trains the student based on the respective field by the highly talented HR officers. Also they trained people for the Govt Jobs. As per my knowledge, nearly more than 60 corporates(TCS, CTS, HCL, WIPRO, Omega, etc) tied up with Heber for the campus drive. After my study I got a job with the good package. Eventually there is some internship program to interchange the student between international universities.
College Events :
Muthamizh Vizha, more than 3 gospel meetings, Heber Hive, Christmas Carols, Heber Family get together. Sports day, Heber Cheers, Fetters free, Rejoice, Valda, Graduation day, College day, Festoram, internal departments conferences, Events, Inaugurations, validation functions in the departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very manageable to middle-class family's. There are some scholarships provided by the Heber as well as Govt. There is no additional fees/charges that had to be paid in order to secure admission to your courses. Yes, the college provides transparency in the fee-breakdown based in the bills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
To apply through the college. There are two scholarships in every year that initiated by the college offer scholarship opportunities to students. The eligibility criteria is income value should be below 1. 5 lakhs per annum to the parents of respective students and procedure to apply for the same.
Campus Life :
Perfect like a home. About the Gender ratios, Student/Dorm Parties, workshops, cultural societies or Student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, and economic status ( Be detailed in your response to meet and there is none like this.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes. hostel rooms, if its sharing, in case hostel seats are few, the college management will arrange the dalternate ideas to accommodate the student's insecure place for their parent's satisfaction. Mess hall and staff are very close and they used to treat like as family members while they serving the food. I stayed at the hostel for seven years but even at any single point I never that I was away from home.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. I've experienced with my college seniors or a lot of interaction have had with your alumni which In any way has affected your experience.
Admission :
I searched on google and found that college through a website. One of the best colleges in TN. I applied for BCA but because of my 12 th mark, I didn't get a place in BCA. Then attended an interview to join in B. sc comp science. Finally, I've joined in B. Sc computer science in the year of 2013 and did well in UG as well as PG.
Faculty :
Yes. There are totally 780 faculty members who are well educated and qualified in their respective subjects. Professors are only allowed to communicate by a common language(English). Also there are some foreign tie up with international universities.
