Remarks :

Overall college was good. Faculties were very helpful. College management was cooperative. We had a very rich library which had books on all aspects of management and personality development. Librarian was also very knowledgeable and supportive. Our Director were very supportive and provided there guidance whenever needed

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was based on Mumbai University pattern. It was relevant to some extent. After all the real scenario is a bit different. I gained some useful knowledge and personal skills which helped me improve as an individual and change my overall personality. Interactions with students from different fields also helped me understand the challenges they face and how to overcome them.

Placement Experience :

Placement in the college was good. Many top companies visited our campus for placements. In fact our Director had very good relations with the corporates. Almost 100% placements were done for Full time students at our time. Before placements proper counselling and questions answer sessions were held to help us crack the placements.

College Events :

The college organjsed students cultural events Evey year along with 1 academic event. Also there were Alumni meets where all the previously exam passed out students came and shared there current experience of work culture and how the overall industry works where they were placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Examination fees were feasible and very much affordable. My course fees was 35000 for each year for 3 years. We had to provide extra money for books that were provided by college for studies of different publications which they provided at a discounted rate. Modes of payments were cash, cheque and Demand draft. Yes the college did provide us with total transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not aware of the scholarship opportunities to students or education loan as I didn't take any education loan

Campus Life :

Campus life was good. A lot of interaction was done between other specialization students also.We had more male students in our speciality that is Marketing. But Finance and HR specialty had equal gender ration. There were lot of PPT presentations on topics given to us which helped our overall personality to improve.

Hostel Facilities :

No. Hostels were provided to only full time students along with all necessary facilities.I am not aware of the hostel fees and average rentals of the hostel. But the facilities were good as we came to know from interactions through our full time students.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network was good. As I mentioned earlier we had alumni meet where students use to share there personal experience of various corporates they were working with. This also helped us understand the overall industry.

Admission :

Our college was listed amongst the Top 30 institutes of India. Faculty teaching was very good. Some of our faculties also went to IIM to teach there. College fees was reasonable. Admission procedure was there was college Entrance Exam and Personal Interview conducted and selection of students was based on that.

Faculty :

We had close to 15-20 lecturers with average age between 35-40 yes and some faculties were highly qualified. They had good knowledge about there subject which helped us gain more and deeper insight in that particular subject. Also time to time review exams helped us a lot. Also they had a good corporate work experience too through which they helped us to understand how the overall industry works.

Placement Experience:

You will be getting packages of above 6 LPA easily if you get into this college. In my time, the stated average is 14.5 LPA. But the actual average will be around 13 LPA. It's the best option if you don't want to spend too much money to do your MBA or want to start and MBA and do something else on the side, like cracking a better college, cracking government jobs, entrepreneurship, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements at JBIMS are great and they can be compared with IIM BLACKI / FMS / XLRI / IIFT / MDI. Due to the small batch size JBIMS is able to place 100% of its batch during the placement week. The sector-wise offers are 38% BFSI & IB, 21% Consulting, 19% Technology & E-Commerce, 9% FMCG & Pharma, 7% Conglomerates & Mfg, and 6% others. JBIMS attracts various big firms such as McKinsey, PwC, IBM, HUL, Nestle, P&G, Tata Steel, Reliance, Amazon, JPMC, etc to name a few. The Highest package was 34.36 lakhs and the average package stood at 22.84 lakhs for the MMS Batch of 2020. The students are eligible for final campus placements after completing the summer internship which happens after the 2nd semester.
