Remarks
It's not a typical B-school. It's a rather C-school with niche programs and courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is diverse in the 1st semester with some interesting subjects and becomes more streamlined and industry-focused as per student's specialization in the 2nd year. The exam structure is semester-wise (4 semesters, 2 semesters in one year each) along with internal tests and engaging assignments, of-course. Students can also opt for virtual internships or live projects from the companies. There's a dedicated committee that works towards providing such opportunities. There are guest lectures where the speakers are invited from the industry.
Placement Experience
Most of the organizations that come for recruitment are agencies - media agencies, digital marketing agency, PR agency; and few corporates. Each company has its own process for selection - be it aptitude test, GD, case study tasks, and Personal Interviews. Placement season begins from November for final year students. The same is for internships as well. There are separate prep and guidance sessions as to how one should go about preparing CV and for interviews.
College Events
Events, Festivals, competitions form an integral part of the campus life - Cultural events to sports fests to marketing competitions. The participation is not only from other Symbiosis institutes, but also other major B-Schools and C-schools from all over India, especially for the annual event.

There are different modes accepted - DD, Electronic Transfer. The fee needs to be paid semester-wise, and there are notifications and updates regarding the payment from the admin team. No additional fees required to secure admission. Yes, the college does provide transparency in the fee-breakup in the beginning itself.
Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life
The campus boasts of one of the most beautiful campuses in the country - scenic, hill-top and away from the main city. You can well imagine the Campus life. Life on the hills is pretty amazing with the folks around who become friends and family for the 2 years. One of the key features about Symbiosis is it's diversity. The gender ratio is well-balanced, and students are from different states, different walks of life, there are good amount of freshers as well as experienced ones. There are different cells and clubs that take care of each aspect of the extra-curricular activities, taking place all year round. There are fests, campus events, sports activities, competitions and seminars, conferences and a lot more keep on happening throughout the year, providing a plethora of opportunities for one to explore, learn and showcase his/her potential on a platform that one cannot miss to notice. The learning experience outside the classroom is even bigger than what it is inside.
Hostel Facilities
It's a residential course. Staying in hostels is mandatory. Hostels are on twin sharing, three sharing and 4-sharing basis. In the 1st year, you don't get a chance to choose the rooms or your room partner/s, but in the 2nd year, you are given the choice to choose both - your room partner and the rooms. It's one of the best campuses in India - on a hill-top. You witness some great views from your hostel room, and in fact all across the campus. The hostel is a 5-10 minute walk to the Academy block where the classes are being conducted. One can also use a bicycle to roam around the campus. The hostels are clean and well-maintained. Basic assets like a study table, chair, cupboard, bed, mattress, etc. are provided. Boys and Girls hostels are separate but next to each other. Hostel fee is included in the overall fee structure and an additional deposit is also taken in the beginning which is then refunded once the student passes out.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is decent. There's a separate committee who conducts events/seminars/meetings and discussions with the alumni. The seniors become friends first and then seniors. The environment is pretty friendly.
Admission
There's an entrance aptitude test SNAP, conducted all across India for admission into any of the Symbiosis Institutes. There are different cut-offs for different Symbiosis colleges. If you clear the cut-off, you receive a call letter for GD-PI. And clearing that would lead to the admission. The SNAP entrance test usually takes place in the month of December-Jan, whereas the GD-PI is scheduled in Feb, and results are announced mostly in March-April
Faculty
The faculty is experienced enough to conduct the classes. Few of them are PhD holders, whereas most of them have industry experience. They are updated with the latest digital trends relevant to the marketing communications domain and the same is embedded in the curriculum as well with live assignments and case studies.
