Remarks :

The management is good however there is a requirement for the change in some of the staff.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is quite good and also it is professionally inclined in order to make the students a better professional. It is based on making a student to attain knowledge about the traits of the industry. Apart from this the course is structured in such a manner that student will be able to understand everything from the basic.

Placement Experience :

If we talk about placements, they were available on off campus as student needs to apply for the internships and placements at that time. Now college has its own placement cell. Depending upon the couses, faculty members help the students in guiding them about the interview and they used to conduct workshops accordingly.

College Events :

There were a number of fests that were held in the college. Tryst was the main fest of the college. Apart from that there were the departmental fests as well namely - COGNIZANCE( bcom fest), ELEXONIA (electronics hons fest) and many others. Our college was also associated with SPIC MACAY in order to keep us cultural related as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The Annual fee is quite reasonable. It is approximately 6000 per annum. The course is of 3 years however you need to also give some extra money as exam fees which needs to be submitted on semester basis along with that the annual fee included a refundable amount of 1000 which is returned by the college authorities once we pass out from the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were some scholarships available for the students who were financially weak as according to our college ethics -“ Education is a necessity for everyone”. There were some relaxation schemes there in the college I.e. If someone is talented in music, art or someone is good at sports. Students were selected Based on the audition or trial criteria in order to make sure the documents they are presenting are legit. In order to apply for those quotas is to contact the college administration.

Campus Life :

The Campus life was pretty amazing. If we talk about the cultural prospect,we used to organise cultural fests and seminars as well. Freshers party and college annual fest used to be the main spotlights of the year. However there were some departmental fests and workshops as well in order to make sure that cultural activities and academics go hand in hand. Both boys and girls used to participate equally in this.

Hostel Facilities :

No. Unfortunately I couldn’t apply for the hostel as it was under construction at that time. However the hostel is for girls only. But our college is situated at a place where there were ample of students studying so the PG facilities are available for sure.

Alumni/Alumna :

My seniors were good in every terms. They were helpful and friendly at the same time. Apart from that they also helped in grooming us and if someone had a hidden talent they used to encourage that person as well.

Admission :

I got the admission through sports quota as I was into sports at that time. I filled up the form which was available at the college while applying for the college prospectus and also I had to collect all my relevant documents in order to submit at the time of the trial.

Faculty :

The college faculty was good however there were some teachers those who were biased but that usually happens in a college. Apart from that the lecturers were experienced ands some of the lecturers hired were our alumni as they used to help us in giving us the better clarity and education at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is actually great as it helps us to prepare for the competitive exams like the cell biology, genomics and various other topics. Also, the teachers are very friendly and they teach through E-boards which is very helpful as it is easy to use. The type of exams is the semester type in every 4 months exams are conducted and the difficulty level is medium to hard.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the last year for placement and there is dedicated placement cell called 'pinnacle' but it offers good placement in commerce courses but very less number in science courses and definitely neglible in chemistry as students generally tend to opt for a master's degree for better opportunities in industries as well as exams such as GATE. The package ranges from 3 to 4 lakhs. There are no specifics for the company names as the data is not continuous. My plan is also to opto for a master's degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance and comprehensiveness by my course I want to become a scientist. And I have more opportunities in government examinations I chose this program because of my favorite subject. There are practical exams in this program also. They are using very effective methods by teaching faculty that was helped in understanding the material for the student. The examination conducted was average and more size, than the examination paper conducted on the given syllabus there I experienced it very well so I think this is a very beautiful journey for me.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not as great but the placement cell was working hard enough to get good placements for everyone. Placements average at about 4LPA. The vetting and everything was seamless and placement cell members were really helpful.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is very efficient as it widens opportunities for students and exposes them to various companies. The majority of students were pursued masters in various fields. Some of them were successfully selected in job categories like banking etc. The science students usually don't get placement benefits in the college. So the students have to be dependent on other sources for internships and placements. Many companies like Genpact and other visited Inside the college. Same was the case for previous batches too.

Placement Experience:

The college has an active Placement Cell. It organizes workshops, seminars and provides placement and internships in a wide range of profiles. Major placement opportunities are available to BCom students. Final semester students become eligible for campus placements. As per the stats of 2019-20, the highest package offered was 9 LPA and average package was 4.3 LPA. Major job profiles were finance, audit, sales, marketing, consultancy, HR operations etc. and 96+ companies were associated including KPMG, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Decathlon, UrbanClap, Genpact, Chegg, Wipro, FIS, Teach for India, Josh Talks, Inshorts, Careers 360 and many more. However the percentage of students getting placed is not much greater, because majority of students don't sit in campus placements and go for masters. Generally, BCom graduates are offered with better profiles in big companies (KPMG, EY, Deloitte etc) I am planning to go for MCA after my graduation .

Placement Experience:

3rd-year students are eligible for placements. The highest package of 2020 was of Mc Kinsey with 8lpa and average package of SGTB Khalsa 3 to 4 LPA. The students are mostly places from commerce courses as the big fours come for them. The percentage of students getting placed is 60% and I feel, I might opt for a job after a degree which is suitable as everything is work from home for now.

I guess from 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placement and for this, there is a placement cell also being run in the college. Some of the companies that come to our college are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Josh talks, jio , yamaha , de Shaw, and co. The highest package offered is - 19 LPA The average package offered is - 8 LPA It depends on the course you opt for, but the highest placement is for commerce and economics. ( 70%) I am planning to do MSc after my grad. And then I will pursue research.
