Remarks :
Attendance criteria and submissions sucks a lot. The timing should be adjusted as such that each student gets 2 hours a day to spare time for his own interests. We get time but we have to do study and completions in those.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well, the curriculum is good enough but what I have got to say is examination, attendance matter more than knowledge imparted by a student. If you have attendence more than 75% you are considered a good student. Thats it. Education should be made more practical right from the start. Also, a bit flexibility should be followed.
Placement Experience :
The placement seems good. But as I have not been into any internship I cant tell much about it. A lot of companies visit the college qnd even offer good packages. They have different criteries like no backlogs and all stuff.
College Events :
Sinhgad karandak Singhad techtonic As its my first year I know only these. The karandak is the biggest of all. It takes place for 5 consecutive days. Renowed djs are hired. We call it dj night. Then even fair festival is set up. During techtonic various small games are organised like box cricket and much more.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Well its a bit expensive if you fall under the open category. But if you are eligible for a scholarship its okay to bear it. Well, the fees is accepted by dd demand darft. But in case some situations arise like holidays in a row then cash payment is accepted. I dont think of any additional fees required for admission. All you get is through mht cet and other quotas.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have availed the minority scholarship beign in sc category. I have availed this by holding a position in my college by appering for MHT CET.
Campus Life :
The all competitions mention above are encouraged. The gender ratio will always be 10males to 9 females. Freshers parties are even organised. Then there are cultural events and many such things. The campus life you can say is a bit soothing and relaxing.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a pg which charges me 6000 per month including food two times a day. They provide morning breakfast and dinner. Sometimes there is a quality issue with food although as it comes from the mess. But we are now used to it.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes seniors share good experience. Their cooperation with us is extremely fabulous. Also if any help needed they are their. Just like brothers and sisters. But the only thig is we meet them occasionally.
Admission :
I had my place secured through MHT CET. Once you get good percentile you have to register on an online portal. Then you need to select for your desired colleges. If you meet the selection criteria accordimg to your results then you get a message on website that you have admission alloted. Next process you have to do by visiting the college. Almost 6 lists are put up in every college.
Faculty :
They are at their best doing all the things needed for our better future. Furthermore, they not only impart theoratical knowledge but also prepare us for the real life. Some faculties are there which teach but some students dont understand a bit. But here we cannot have all things on our side. So instead of complaining we start to work on our side a bit.
