Remarks

The college was very good and very helpful and I can say that still, it is so, because I know many people who have taken admission in that college before a year or two and when I asked for their reviews they gave me good reviews. My conclusion is that PWS College, Nagpur, Maharashtra is a very good college and you will not get disappointed after taking admission in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course was really amazing and the exam structure was very good. The exams were conducted by Nagpur University. The teaching method of the college was excellent. We were trained in an excellent way. Yes, the curriculum was groomed to provide industry specific knowledge. Yes, industrial tours were also held by the college.

Placement Experience

3

I don't know about the companies that had visited the college at that time when I was studying there. But I can say the college every year works very hard so that the students can be placed in a good company and live a good life. Yes, the institution took special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.

College Events

5

Yes, our college also celebrated cultural events every year. They were very big because the students of the whole college participated in it. Anybody willing to participate in the events can do it. It was open for all the students of the college. And yes the events were very funny and enjoyable though.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very feasible. The college is a government granted and affiliated to UGC, Government of India. Hence, we didn't have to pay a huge amount of fees. No there were no additional fees/charges that had to be paid in order to secure admission to our course. Yes, the college also provided transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I had opted for the scholarship for the college fees and for that I had to write a letter to the government of India.

Campus Life

4

For gender ratio, boys were generally larger in number as compared to girls. In Student/Dorm parties generally, boys were larger in number as compared to girls. Also, in workshops, cultural societies or student tolerance boys were generally larger in number as compared to girls. But it was normal at that time because girls were generally not allowed by their families to stay out for longer times.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I had not opted for any hostel because my residence was just near the college. But, I had heard it from my friends who lived in the hostel that the rooms of the hostel were small but good. The hostel also provided good food. I am not sure about the fees because I didn't opt for the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students were helpful for us. I remember one day I interacted with one of my seniors and he had given me the right guidance for my career.

Admission

I opt for this course because I was interested in it. I chose this institution because it is a good and named institution. For the admission, I went to the head of the college and I was directly admitted in the college. And also this college is located near my residence.

Faculty

4.5

The tentative number of lecturers in our college for our course was 6. The average age of the lecturers was between 40-50 and they were also qualified they held degrees such as M.A, BEd. All the lecturers are experts in their fields and they are very helpful they also provide clarity about the subjects. Yes, the lecturers also held industry-experience and certifications.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen BA arts as my curriculum cause I have had an intrest in Psychology and I am thinking of pursuing a further career in it. Our stream is having around 15-20 faculty members and each class strength is around 120 and there are 4 divisions. Almost all of the faculty members are having phd degree and everyone is having a unique teaching method and very likely we enjoy the lectures of all the faculty members. The teaching is really good. For this year that is for FY, I was having 2 online exams one for each term and it was MCQ type questions and answers. The exams level difficulty is moderate.

Remarks:

My college has a lot so it can be best not only in our city or state but also in a country. But we are lacking planning which has clarity and implementation of the same. We need to be more optimistic and our college has to build some basic infrastructure and facilities where they are lacking and guidance support for every stream of students so we can do better in future and obviously at present which requires teamwork but before that leader should be there who can take all people's accountability and start this thing.
