Remarks :

The only thing good amidst the chaos is the management but yes they do lack time management. We are there for 10.5 hrs but we think that most of the time there are things that we can get done from home but yet we are made to sit there because attendance carries marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Talking of architecture, students need exposure to the field more than books which scet fails to provide. There's no on-campus placements so the student lack opportunities. The exam procedure is same as it is for any other course( book oriented). And of course one needs to clear it to become eligible for the degree.

Placement Experience :

The institute plays no role for the placement or internships. The institute also participates holding externals visit and share their knowledge with us, but most of the time we are the ones to call the externals and make arrangements for their visit.

College Events :

The cultural event do take place if we are the ones to manage the decoration, sound and light system. Also because of the limited budget provided we are force to manage everything on our own without the external help, Including decoration and workshops.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

So there's management quota also on which you get admission too. If you're to take admission through it, then yes it is expensive. We have to pay additional fees for the events happening and as said even after paying it we've to manage the event without the help of external labor. There's no transparency of it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship program is way too complicated and also not available to those who belonged to other board in high school. Yes but at least it is available to the one from the state board and they get half of their fees back if they are eligible for the program.

Campus Life :

They hardly conduct any sports activity once in a year. There are more male members participating in it even though in overall there are more female students. The faculties themselves are inactive as they're used to desk job. They are not involved in any physical activities.

Hostel Facilities :

I haven't opted for hostel. But I know how is it in there. They are quite messy but are sufficient and affordable by an average income person. There's no extra facility provided except food and a dorm. There's a ground used by both hostelers and the college students both.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are really helpful, I may say more than our faculties. As every coin has 2 sides so does this. There are many other who are into ragging and some of the faculties support them so there's no one we can go to in case we are bullied.

Admission :

The admission process is alike like any other college. You need to clear the entrance exam and then fill the admission process form and through merit list you get selected if eligible. For architecture, same process is followed throughout India. Since the college is well known in the city for architecture, I chose to get admission in it.

Faculty :

The lectures are way too boring. The faculties follow the method that they used to at the beginning of the college. There's no modification made to it neither they have adapted changes in the system. There are many lectures that lack industry exposure and are limited to the presentations.

Placement Experience:

For this course there is no placement facilities as placement already done while course admission. Package for L&T was 4.2 LPA in 2013. Out of 9 students 6 students were L&T sponsered. also other company gives sponsership like ESSAR had given 1 students in 2013-2015 batch. only 2 students had to find job form their own.

Placement Experience:

We should not be sceptical of the college's placement offers. During the college placement drive, market leaders' companies visit the college campus. We have many options from various companies to choose from, with nearly 110+ companies participating in the placement. Deshaw, Google, ITC, JSW, Barclays, KMK Consulting, Ford, Mercedes India, Samsung, L&T, Oracle, and many other companies conduct company placement drives on our campus. The highest salary offer is 50 LPA, and the average earnings offer is 21 LPA.

IITs are well-known for their high placement rates, and IIT Gandhinagar is no exception. The placement panel leaves no stone unturned to assist you with your placement, and the college placement record is 100 percent. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, ITC, and Barclays are among the companies that have visited the campus. The highest and lowest wage packages were 35 LPA and 8 LPA, respectively.

Placement Experience:

Students get quite well placement but the percentage is low. After completing PhD candidate can get a chance of becoming an assistant professor. In such entries, JAA holds a good name. As long as internship programs are run.

Admission:

The minimum criteria is to have at least 50% and 45% for SC/ST/OBC in B.Tech or B.E. or equivalent exam Further the selection process takes place through the candidate's score in GPAT/GATE or PGCET entrance test.

Placement Experience:

The placement occurs in govt. securities like police and also in private security organizations like 08 Private security, Addon, Sharper etc. The university also gives opportunities for internship to students.
