Student's Review On College Of Engineering, Anna University - [CEG], Chennai

Because it has good campus placement. And why I chose MCA so I love coding, debugging (Programming). I have filled TANCET entrance exam and my rank is six so I have taken admission in Main campus of Anna University which name is College of engineering Guindy.

Course curriculum is very good but still some course to be added like android and about industrial exposure is not well provided and about faculties they have some brilliant but also they have some screen readers.

There are so many companies visit for Btech and MCA also placement are going up and down and this year form 40 students of mca placed out of 100 and placement is now on hold because of COVID-19 pandemic.

There are technical events mostly because it is a engineering college and few of cultural events happen here. About campus life you can say it is average because food provided by the mess is typical South Indian foods which you don't like every day. And there are many events like Astra, Agni, Niral and many more and most of the my college is first.

My college campus is in 225 Acres. It is one of the biggest engineering college in Chennai. Sports facilities are very good and they have Asia's biggest library called Anna centenary library and labs are also good enough.

Rental is 220000 approx for 3 years and infrastructure of hostel is my hostel has 500 rooms approximately and 2000 boys lives there facilities are good you can say. But you have to go to downstairs to bring water if you are living on 2nd and 3rd floor.
