Entrance Preview

I appeared for cgpet exam for the admission . There is no interview only the counseling process for the admission to the college which is based upon your rank in cgpet exam. My rank was 2900.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was from mechanical stream and the was very similar to every college consists of basic engineering. Stream for every branch at first year and main stream branch for the rest of the years.

Internships Opportunities

There is no stipend offered fpr the internship . The college wont spend single penny of their own everything is students and we have to pay everything . Even for small things like elevators.

Placement Experience

Please forget about the placement in our collge . Only placement will be in the bpo sectors however they will show lots of things on their paper work. Some of them will be placed if they are lucky enough and they mostly belong to cs branches.

College Events

Only one college event celebrated anually which is widely celebrated and many celebrities like ayushmaan khurana and guitarist baizu bawara and did judge terence have visited during the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and not expensive .There will be scholarship for backward class and branch openers Rs 48000 per year almost till 2000-2014.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are available which can be easily consulated to the management and scholarships for backwards class and branch openers are also available.

Campus Life

The whole experience of college life was nice and good with good sports management . Though workshop's are pathetic .Cultural activities are nice and good.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is frequent and nicely managed by the management committee. They will take care of everything .

It was ruthless . Only few faculties were but still they were involved in politics of the college . The only faculty who was good is rahul mishra but the rest of the college is mostly involved in politics who will take whose position and it was really bad and most of them dont know anything.

Likes

Teacher are good knowledge his teaching skills are so good.
Campus are neat and clean,good invironmet.
Civil and machanical labs instrument is so High quality.

Dislikes

Canteen size is very small and cleaness is most important is very bad .
College fees is very high and hostel fees
College Auditorium is very small minimum 200 students is sit here

Placement Experience:

Thos college average placement is 5-6 LPA it's is good in every branch . This college highest placement is 42 LPA this is very High to other colleges. Plans after the completing the course future is very bright

Good college good life

Likes

The college facultys are very well educated and their behaviour is very supportive
The college area is very preferably good for try e convinience of the students
Bus facility is one the best thing i had ever seen in my lifr

Dislikes

Our college is far away from the main city raipur so it makes difficult to travel everyday
The size of the canteen can be extend to a minimum area
The attendance criteria for the students is 75 percentage which can be reduced for the convenience

Placement Experience:

The college provide various campus placement opportunities expected on the pre final / final year of the course but it highly depends on the company s eleigibility criteria for the student but it is very good

75 percent attendance mandatory for class test 1 amf class test 2also
College is far away from the city raipur and also away frome city facilities
They are very strict in also the classnotes.. And in ct 60 marks is compulsory

There is a café named "Pai chai" which is very amazing and lots of people hangout there for its great Cup of tea.
there are so many good staff and teachers for us to teach. most of them graduated from NITs/IITs and even from IIMs.

Dislikes

There is too less hostels for us. especially for those who are from other states.
Teachers give too much assignment work. very hard to deal with.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Likes

Overall infrastructure is good and clean. There are different outlets in the canteen area, one can get different foods. Plus it also has an cafe, in case you need a cup of coffee!
Facilities are nice and helpful with few exceptions.
Sport infrastructure is good, but needs maintenance

Dislikes

I don't really like the campus life here, it's boring, nothing interesting happens here.
Some faculties are super mean, They scold you for small things.
I don't like the fact that fees doesn't decrease, they should atleast decrease each year if not semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Likes

Campus life: It is very good and homely.
Good faculty and nice teaching 👍🏻 👌 👏
Good coure like CSE with good updated courses.

Dislikes

Less girls sudents . Less girls to boys ratio.
Not good for south students. Cooks according to north students.
No washing machines available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.
