I am chocie this college because the college is very good mostly the commerce department is very good and the college is most beautiful. The college is near by me and have commerce stream. My college is situated in Dharapur, Amrit bharali path

Course Curriculum Overview :

My college rule and regulation is very good what I need in a college. In my college there are two stream available first is commerce and the second is Arts stream. And Higher Secondary and under graduate is available.

Class Size : 112Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are many opportunity come when my degree is complete . Where the financial working there I am able specially banks, CA firms, many companies , many other privet sectors area. But when the degree is complete I am do M. Com.

College Events :

The college campus is very big size. There is a Library, Sport complex, Gym , boys common room, car parking, bike parking etc. The college organization much more event specially the college week, fresher's, motivating event.

Campus Life :

My college have a sport auditorium, basketball court and college back side a play ground . The college have wifi size library which name is Bipin Chandra Bharali Library. In the college have a lab of education department.

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
