Remarks

Actually i was interested in pursuing aerospace engineering And this is the only vtu college which offers aerospace engineering course during 2017 but now some other colleges are also providing this course

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is prepared from vtu board and it is very effective were we can learn everything related to aerospace industries. Internships Opportunities

Yeah i have opted for internship in accord company from college but it should be starting from July and no stipend will be provided and if we do well in the internship they said that they will be taking us into there company after course completion

Placement Experience

2.5

Actually to be honest placements are not that good in our college because very less number of companies visit our campus but we have complained about it and they said we will try to get more companies.

College Events

Basically we have arohana fest, were we have cultural program activities like dance and music, singing etc And technical seminar on ongoing projects in industries and almost everyone participate in some or the other activities so everyone will be enjoying

Fees and Financial Aid

No i haven't availed any scholarships or loan facilities from college and so i don't know about it and you can ask in the office room if you want to know about scholarship/ loans facilities offered by the college

Campus Life

4.5

Our campus is having wifi facilities, football ground, basketball court, volleyball ground and evergreen campus. And our library is very vast with variety of books and with wifi available in library to support e-learning, And labs has new equipments

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yeah i had opted for hostel in my first year, hostel rooms are well maintained and daily cleaned and there are 3 sharing rooms and food is also good to avail the hostel facility we need to fill the hostel application and submit in the office room with some amount of advance like 25k and then pay it in the installments.

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
