Entrance Preview :

GATE, R V College of Engineering is one of best n top college in Bangalore, here education quality is good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Currently I'm in 4th sem.We have total two subjects in this semester. My subjects for this semester are Agile Technology and Distributed Computing, previous our subjects are "Software Testing", Advanced DBMS, Advanced Algorithm.

Internships Opportunities :

I'm here as a teaching assistantship and my stipend is 8000 per month. College provide good internship after 1st completion of my MTech , many companies came here for internship.

Placement Experience :

Placements of RV College is very awesome, here we get many opportunities. Many big and top companies come here.Maximum placement package : 60 lpa (Google) .

College Events :

"8th Mile " one of famous RV College event. It's 3 day function with DJ. We enjoyed a lot. In our college many event happen during different festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure for MTech is by VTU university and its 60000 and plus 25000 college. So total its around 85000 - 88000 for a year. Apart from that my own expenses are around 5000+ for a month. Here foods are cheap and sometimes we go out for foods.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes different scholarship are available like for SC / SC students, for GATE qualified students, and many more.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good, I always love to go college and having fun with study. Labs are always up to date with all software and many labs are tie up with big companies like NXP and IBM.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior n alumni are very helping nature, they always come forward for help. They are always ask about our performance and if its required we get call from college. They always send mail for any new information came to college from university.

Exam Structure :

Exam system is as per VTU university, and we have min 3-4 labs in a week, VTU university pattern is very simple but the exam paper checking is little bit tough.

Faculty :

Facility in RV college are good, they always tell as to use new technology and they are very helping nature. My internal technical guide is very helpful, he gave me project "sentimental analysis on hotel reviews" and I've completed half project and my guide help me lot.

Great College!

Placement Experience:

There are ample amount of placement opportunities, from interns to full time. But one thing I have noticed is, placement companies specifically come either for btech students or for computer science department. Us ECE students have got very few opportunities.

The positive feedback about our college is that we get lots of placement which is good. Also studying in our college is of another level people respect us when they come to know that we are Are the students of uvce. Experience of college life

Placement Experience:

since it was an government college the college people were least bothered regarding the placements for the students, there was no placements happening in our college.Neither any if the companies visited our college to hire the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course was interesting, industrial automation had a wide scope nowadays,syllabus was good,but in m tech most of time we work on practicals,but as this college is government college, not much focused on practical learning inside the college, No research initiative was available in this college, operational research was the elective option, All courses are good in engineering only u have to have an interest in particular subject then u will have a great future

PES Main college is top college in Bangalore. Took GATE in 2003 and cleared it with 84 percentile. Took admission to ME Computer science at University Vishwesharayya College of Engineering (UVCE). UVCE has a reputation of producing excellent engineers.

Placement Experience:

If you get an admission at UVCE, placement at good companies is assured as this college has a reputation of producing great engineers, by the end of 4th semester, companies will start flooding into college to recruit best talent for their companies.
