Remarks :
College management was highly supportive and cooperative. They helped us prepare for difficult stages in our exams, placements and others. They raised and boosted our confidence for the same.
Entrance Preview :
UPTU Examination. I scored good and took the admission in PSIT, KANPUR. I opted the college as I was greatly convinced by its progress and the placements provided.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer Science and engineering was my branch. So, all the subjects were based keeping in mind, computer related concepts. Data Structures was the subject which I liked the most. There were various algorithms, which helped me in clearing my concepts related to coding. I even scored the highest in this subject in my college.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship was done from outside the college. I completed my internship in IIT Kanpur. However, we could also complete it in the college itself. There were various courses going for the same like C language and others, for other branches.
Placement Experience :
Placement was too good as all the big and named companies were invited. Infosys was one of the companies which came in our college campus and took 42 students. There were also other big companies which came, like Birlasoft, Oracle and Cognizant. I was placed in Cognizant. I am really thankful to my college and the faculty.
College Events :
Various events and functions were celebrated, keeping in mind the occasion and festival. There were also annual functions organised in which we could participate and even win prices. There were various quiz contests organised which helped us in improving our knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee was nominal Neither too high nor too low. Approximately 1 lakh per annum was taken. This fee was nominal for most of the students, as the amount justified the education and knowledge imparted.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am not aware of the same. May be it was not present earlier but nowadays, they are following some sort of scholarship or loan facility. Will have to check for the same.
Campus Life :
Everything was good in the college. I am totally satisfied with everything. Ample amount of time was given to us for the labs, sports, debates etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I was a day scholar so I didn't use mess facility much. However, i seldom went to the mess or shared the food with my hostel mates. The food tasted okay and justified the amount taken for the same.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors were great. They were very friendly and helpful. Supported us a lot especially the computers batch. A lot of cooperation was provided, which made us feel comfortable.
Exam Structure :
The labs session were held at the end of the day, where we were introduced to both practical and theoretical concepts. We had the right to touch the equipments and preform the practicals on our own, which kept our interest awakened. The exams were help internally and externally, both.
Faculty :
The faculty was highly educated and helpful. They provided their support and knowledge in every stage. They shared the tips and tricks to score good percentage. They asked us to be punctual to college. High standards and regularity was what we followed.
