The good remark about my college is it's placements. There is no bad remark because my college is awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of IIIT Kota is really excellent. Exam is of very high level.There are two exams mid-semester exams and end-semester exams are held for each course every year. The exams level is so high according to it's education system. The exams are conducted by the college itself no other outer University held exam. These exams really helped me in being so professional. I am learning new skills after passing every exam. so overall I say that Course Curriculum is really very excellent.
Placement Experience :
The placement of IIIT KOTA is good among all IIIT's. The last year highest placement was 28lpa by Amazon. Internships are given based on interviews and mock coding tests. I have been an intern in Java programming from msme. The companies visits in our campus are : Adobe,Mahindra, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, HSBC, Qualcomm, Intel, Goldman Sachs,Wipro,TCS etc. The tentative percentage of students last year was 90%. Institute organize seminars regarding placements.
College Events :
IIT kota runs in MNIT Jaipur so there are so many events are held in our college. 1.Blitzchlag is the biggest event organised by our college in which participants from all over india come to join the event. 2.Sphinx MNIT is the second big event held in my college. In which so many activities are held. Celebrities like singers are invited in this event. There are about 15000 participants in this event. and various other events like Robotics, Cultural, Literary and Dj nights etc are held as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure of our college is highly expensive. They don't provide any reservation for poor students. The college doesn't provide any transparency in the fee structure. Our college accepts fees through SBI collect which is their own gateway for payment accepting. But the students who have taken education loan can pay their fees through Demand Draft from Bank.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As the fees of college Is so high so opted for scholarship and education loan both. The scholarship is provided by the government of Rajasthan. And taken education loan from Punjab National Bank. The scholarship is provided total sum of 71000 per year. I apply for scholarship whenever applications are live.
Campus Life :
The campus life of iiit kota is really awesome. As the college don't have it's own campus so it is mentored by MNIT Jaipur. The gender ratio in our college is not good as there are only 5 girls in the class of 100 students. Extracurricular activities are conducted by the college very nicely. There are proper labs for every subject and technology. Completitions like Coding, Robotics and Debate are held by clubs of college. So overall I will give 5 star to campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I opted for hostel. Our hostel is very big and it is situated in the mid of jaipur city. The name of hostel is ganga hostel. There are about 800 rooms and 5 floors in this hostel. There are variety of rooms present in this hostel. On the first floor there are 4 seater rooms for first year students and second floor have 3 seater rooms and third floor have 2 seater room and fourth and top floor having single rooms.
Alumni/Alumna :
Many of our alumni works in reputed companies like facebook and amazon. There is an event every year organized by our alumni association. They interact with students and advice them for planning of study and interview cracking. So our college alumni are awesome. Our seniors are so helpful. They organize workshops for juniors and always ready to help juniors.
Admission :
From childhood I was interested in computers and technology related things. So after my Secondary education I was looking for a good college which can provide me best computer education. So I attempted for JEE exam and got good rank in exam. According to my rank I got addmission in IIIT Kota in CSE branch which was my dream.
Faculty :
The facilities of IIIT Kota is really very supportive and helpful. They are highly skilled in teaching. In my course there are about 10 lecturers and 5 HOD's. Some of them are graduated from Top IIT colleges like IIT Bombay etc. They have experience more than 5 years each. They are expertise in the subject they taught. Yes they are ex of some reputed companies.
