Remarks :

Everything related to the academics and campus is good. But at some cases management over rules the students in decision making.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is purely based on MG university syllabus. Definitely there were add ons. One of which is the Labs and freedom to access them. From 1st year onwards we had training on different techniques and technologies that might help us in future. Interested students will then be picked up and given more access and resources, mostly technical to grow.

Placement Experience :

Placement is good here. The main recruiters are TCS and UST global. Both of these are software firms. Core companies too Visit for recruitment but since they are core the number will be Pretty low. We were gone through a lot of training procedures. Alot of them involved communication and etiquette training.

College Events :

College hosts some of the biggest events in the state. Every genre of events will have an intra and inter version. There is 1 main technical event nautilus which repeats in 2 years. The cultural event bharatham repeats in 3 years. Apart from this, every year there will be college level arts fest and technical events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Government fee for this course is 75000 for non government colleges for 1 year. There will be some additional fees charged by the college for all the add on programs and this will be around 16000. So a total of 91000rs in average will be charge per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't opted for any educational loan. I had a scholarship for the first year. This was availed just by submitting a form to the college. They will handle rest of the headache. College offered a fee waiver for backward community who were good at studies.

Campus Life :

There no such stereotyping in the campus. Gender ration is almost 50:50. We have a very good community and cultural backup here. Sports and cultural events conducted every year helps in that. Technical events will include every tech related topics and workshops.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni students are not that strong here. Some of them helps but most of them are not around. I personally helps the college a lot as an alumnus.

Admission :

Interested in the course. I knew some former students. Wrote the entrance exam and the admission was based on merit for the govt quota. Mainly interested due to the campus, course and the events that they host. Could have studied the course anywhere else but the rest will not be available to enjoy.

Faculty :

Faculty like every college was mixed buch. Some of them where truly great that the downside can be ignored. The average age of teachers will be around 40 years. In this set some of them have industrial experience. This helps a lot to get the current trends.

Remarks:

It is a really good college if academic is your only aim. It has a very good atmosphere for studying and really calm it is. But the other aspects are not really inspiring and viable. The college doesn't promote other activites.

Positive - very close to town, so it's easy to access. Near to railway junction too. So it's easy for the students to reach the home town. The other positive is that it is close to Kerala kalamandalam, poomala dam etc.
