Decent college campus if compared to other near this one

Course Curriculum Overview :

Continuous evaluation is good but a curriculum based on practical experience than theory paper is what necessary.now exams are main thing students are preparing to it without any in depth knowledge.Marksheets have nothing to do with real caliber of a person.it is creative thinking and analytical mind more important than memorizing some equations.industrial visits,tours, placement cell etc present

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement camps and mega job events conducted at college campus. Internships 15 days at different workshops, manufacturing units,factories.tour and techfest annually

College Events :

Prayukthi tech fest which repeats every year with cultural events competitions and automobile show every year Arts fest which is a talent hunt includes solo and group events.music,dance,literature,painting and many skills are showcased College day events every year

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees for merit students are fixed by government and for management seats is 50% higher than merit fees varies with the demand of the cource offered.college provided tranperant breakdown.library fees etc was there.caution deposit was collected and it was not fully reimbursed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No,paid it without loan because loan at that time required too many procedures and the interest rates really high

Campus Life :

Campus life was really cool. In mechanical stream only one female student but overall campus had 60% male students and 40% female students.different cates amd religions.students from different parts of state no discrimination to any one and every streams showed unity and friendship

Hostel Facilities :

No I was a daily traveller my home is near to the college half an hour ride so opted out that option.hostel food was not that good and the hostel atmosphere was decent medical facilities, playground,transport and clean water availability.shops situated in walkable distance.nearness to college

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors always helpful for finding jobs.alumni groups are there in different parts of world and whatsapl facebook communication is always live

Admission :

Merit was the first reason.and the second one was Nearness to home,so i can travel easily. Tutors and lectures was really good which is really essential for the academics.and alumni from my locality suggested this college who passed out with decent mark

Faculty :

All lecturers with post graduation and experience in teaching.dedicated staffs.every lecture sessions includes ppts and detailed explanations.drawing and graphics lessons with practical drawing classed and CAD lessons.industrial visits workshops woth facilities etc are key points

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
