A review of the most underrated college in Kerala

Dislikes

  • Since they recruit only highly qualified and experienced teachers, the number of staff is less
  • The hostel facility is not much updated that it only accomodate around a hundred students

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is so strict, that it happens to short the semester period from 6 months to 4 months. And as the curriculum is strict, the frequency of tests and assignments are so frequent, which is a better method of teaching.

Placement Experience :

The placements are provided from semester 7 and 8. The placements done so far are better but after the COVID , only startups are showing keen interest. Some companies like TCS, Hdfc and more would recruit often. 80% of the students are getting placed from the placements, which is highly appreciated.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The important factor in the college is the fee structure. Here they provide with various scholarships for the respective categories of student. The main thing is that once the fees is fixed , there would be no hikes and all.

Campus Life :

The fests are organised every semester and would turn into a grant success. NSS, NCC and Rudhirasena are some of the organizations, which makes the students to not only concentrate the studies. They would turn out to have a great impact in their life

Admission :

The admission is through an entrance exam named KEAM, where you should qualify for persuading the course. After clearing the entrance exam , you should come over an allotment process where you can select the colleges and the courses you want to study

Faculty :

The principles regarding recruitment of the faculty is entirely different in the college. They provide with the best teachers who can be our best friend and also genuinely care for you. The faculty provide with at most care that every student would pass with high mark

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
