Remarks :

To a conclusion I will say the college is good to be a part of it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is relevant excluding a few for example tamil is mandatory for everyone (non-tamilian) which is not relevant to our field of education. Moreover there are no industrial visits I have come across or heard from anyone from being a student in this college for 1 year.

Placement Experience :

Since I am a 1st year student I don't have a experience about the placement but as far as I have heard from my seniors. Our college gives placement from different prestigious companies. But the placement are only for commerce department other departments don't have placement opportunities

College Events :

The college hold up a lot of celebration and encourages everyone the participate in everything. The different festivals are freshers, farewell, interdepartmental competition, intercollegiate competition, interyear competition, Christmas festival, Ethnic day, Sports day, Hostel day, NCC day, NSS day, Dance night, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My course fees varies from semesters to semesters. The average fee will be about 30000-35000 per semester for self financing students. Apart from that we have the exam fee which has to be pain every semester. The payment is usually done online through the student portal

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I have not opted for any scholarships but our college avails scholarship for BC MBC and SC/SC. It also avail fee concession for students who cannot afford payments

Campus Life :

The college is a woman college, so every it's obvious everyone one are women. Their is no difference regarding race, sex, economic status, sexual orientation but catholic students are give more preferance in the time of admission. There and not ragging done in the college. Everyone is treated equally and is given equal opportunities.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are good, but the warden are extremely strict and expect absolute discipline in the hostel. There are five hostel in the college and each hostel has it own fees and facilities. I stay in Joseph's hostel we have 5 sharing for 1st years, 2 sharing for 2nd years and single room for 3rd years. There is mobile submission everyday at 8:30pm and we get back our phones in the morning at 6:00am, this rule of Mobile submission helps us to be more productive and not watse time with our phones. Staying in the college hostel may feel like it has a lots of strict rule but this is something to be experienced for and more we learn a lot from these rule. Moreover hostel seats are very few in the college but they are lot of PGs available around the college with average rental starting from 5000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college senior are extremely good and we are really grateful to them. They are always ready to clarify our doubt, help us with everything we want.

Admission :

Stella is a well reputed college in the city and gives wide opportunity in terms of placements for my course. The admission procedure is once we fill the admission form we will recieve an message regarding an interview which is based on merit and quotas (religion, sports, etc.

Faculty :

The faculty in the college are well experienced and have a wide knowledge about their subject. Moreover, They are expertise with their subject and their lectures give clarity the the students about the topic. But at the same time their are 1 or 2 faculty would don't know the art of teaching otherwise they do have a good knowledge but they have to work on the art to teach

Many companies will be raised to get placements because of college. There will be an interview session to overcome the real-time interview to attend. It will be useful at the struggle times. The speakers will give a strong knowledge.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. A lot of companies like Deloitte, Dell, McKinsey, ICICI, KPMG recruit the students. The pay scale ranges from 3 to 7 lakhs per annum depending on the company and the post. There are a lot of rounds to be cleared though, like aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews. Almost 70% of the students get placed if they opt for it.

Remarks:

Location, is the main thing I want to study in this college and fees structure as well If you want to opt for any self-finance course then it might be a little expensive but if you are opting an aided course, then the fee structure is very much low and super affordable as well. The total fees for 2 years of the course which I had pursued, I had to pay nearly Rs 18000. The fees also included tuition fees, semester fees, other fees as well.

Placement Experience:

I really don't know anything about that you said like Placement cell and job opportunities This college provides lot of facilities to entrepreneur cell
