Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer science and engineering because I like to do coding in C++. Not only this, but RIT also has 3 big computer labs to support the students. If we talk about faculty: student ratio then it depends on the branch, If it is CSE, then the ratio is 40:1, If it is mechanical then the ratio is 100:1. Faculties are well qualified, they usually take Ph.D. or M.Tech candidates as faculty members. Also while hiring any faculty member there is a test for them as well. Whose qualifying rate is 80% Term Exams for each course is held twice, that we call as semester exams, The exams consist of 20 questions with overall 100 marks. The passing marks were 30. Exams questions are most of the time simple, one should have a basic understanding of the topics, chapter, to pass the exam.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester or final year. Mostly startup companies visited RIT in 2016 when I was preparing for Placement. The highest package offered was 5 LPA, and the average was 2.6 LPA. Approx 75% of students got placed in including all the branches of engineering. I was preparing for the GATE exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are always fixed, there is no hike in fees. Other than this, the course fee depends on the course. For B.Tech 1st year the course fee was 90000, then for 2nd, 3rd,4th it becomes 80000 Jobs are mostly provided by RIT, Placement record is near to 75%
