MK

Remarks :

On the whole there is no negative remarks to be given about the college. This academy was established with the main aim of helping students evolve into competent and socially responsible Business Managers. Now, DJAME is developed to enter its next level of excellence in academics, research and educational outreach. It is also a recognized Centre for pursuing the part-time M.Phil and Ph.D programmes of the Bharathiar University.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The most spoken course of this college is Masters in Business Administration. The MBA program is a two-year full time program with each year being divided into two semesters with a period of 16 weeks each. In the first academic year, students choose required core courses and in the second year they complete elective courses in their chosen field of specialization. During the summer break between the first and second year, students undertake a compulsory internship/project in an organization, submit a report, and appear for a Viva examination.

Placement Experience :

The placement process at DJAME begins very early, at the beginning of the second year of studies. Students expecting to graduate and desirous of availing the placement services of the Institute are asked to submit their resumes in the prescribed format within a given date. The Placement Committee cell strives to bring recruiters and student aspirants together through campus interviews. It also helps students in finding organisations to complete their summer internships/projects.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure in the college is that one need not to be worried about. This college follows a fee structure that is very feasible when compared to rest of the colleges in the state. This is also a reason why students end up selecting this college to educate them. The fee is to be paid for every year, including both the semester. It is about 1.1 lakh for both the year for the MBA.

Campus Life :

DJ Academy of Managerial Excellence lays its emphasis on the sports activities and physical fitness. There are many amenities provided by the academy which includes Indoor facilities for Table tennis, carom and chess. Outdoor facilities are also available for Basket ball, Foot ball, Volley ball, Cricket, Hand-ball, Throw ball, Tennikoit and Frisbee. The college also provides Well-equipped fitness center with all the requisite fitness equipment for developing and maintaining physical fitness, weight reduction and body building.

Hostel Facilities :

There is an extraordinary hostel facility provided by the college. There are separate furnished hostels for boys and girls. The residential facilities at the DJAME college ensures to make students feel at home. Each hostel in the campus has about 77 rooms which can accommodate 144 students on a twin-sharing basis. The hostel is also equipped with safe drinking water, solar water heaters, a kitchenette, automated laundryand with a common room with television facility.

Admission :

For one to get admission in this college, application forms can be got directly from the Institute’s Office on paying the application fee of Rs 500. Applications are processed when they are received and eligible candidates are shortlisted and called for a Personal Interview. Candidates would be selected merely on the basis of merit. Admission offers are given to the candidates who have cleared the selection process and a time period is provided to the candidates for paying the prescribed fee.

Faculty :

Our faculties are highly qualified and have completed their higher graduation such as PH.D. in their core subjects. Every staff is very responsible to light up their students career. There are faculties available for core subjects and also visiting faculties. The college believes that the strength of an educational Institution lies in the quality of its faculty. All the faculty members are highly qualified, most of them with over 5 years of experience in academics.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are handled by the Placement team of our college. More than 100 companies visit the campus for placements. Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
