Remarks :

College admits students on merit and first-come, first-served basis. The pedagogic and innovative and social soundness at the campus acts as a magnet for the students to opt for this college. The college culture is democratic and humane in nature. the university result id nearly 100% with 98% of students being placed in first-class above 70% at all levels. The college has entered into MOUs with the different business houses and industries for campus placement programmes. These business houses and industries visit the campus frequently or on invitation to interact, and elect and select the students in the line with their requirement : also the information in the job opportunities available or passed on to us, is duly notified on the notice board. This college is an academic and educational destination only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Academically and Innovatively sound campus with equal emphasis on theory and practice. College campus is democratic and humane in approach with an emphasis on extracurricular activity and free expression. Strong infrastructure with spacious classrooms and laboratories including computer laboratories in line with the university syllabi. M.Sc Microbiology is a post-graduate course in Microbiology. It is the discipline that combines biology and chemistry of investigation of the living system and their relationship to the environment. The duration of this course is 2 years divided into four semesters. Highly qualified faculty, having M.Sc., Ph.D., or NET qualifications. the campus professors teach the UG and PG classes, balancing the theory and practice. The classes are held regularly and punctually. The UNIVERSITY results are nearly 100% with 90% of students being placed in FIRST CLASS above 70% at all levels.

College Follows Internship Programmes In line with the campus program (s), the "WORKSHOP" and seminar have been held at the campus, with the participation and attendance of the students. The invited lectures delivered at the workshop at the campus sponsored by Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology Dehradun include. UCST association with scientific center (s) & industries for TRAINING AND PLACEMENT- RANBAXY, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER, DABUR, NECLIFE, PARLE AGRO REFRESHING INDIA, CADILA PHARMACEUTICALS. WINDLASS BIOTECH, SAHARA ETC

Placement Experience :

The provision of placement assistance to the students is a part of the educational program at the campus. The students are helped stay informed upon the availability of the openings and the position at different levels as per their qualifications. last semester students are eligible for campus placement. All who completed the courses at this campus have been serving different institutions, industries, business houses, research institutions in India and abroad as well. UG and PG programs are employable. Almost 75-85% of students of my batch are placed in various pharma & food companies, pathology labs & Industries. They are very satisfied with their job profile or designation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Comparatively this college's fee structure is lowest in Uttarakhand and other states.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel is equipped with aesthetically furnished rooms. Every room accommodates 3 residents, each one provided with a Bed, study table & cupboard and also has an independent balcony with a panoramic view. Recreation includes TV, the internet, and access to newspapers and magazines. Laundry, STD, and Medicare are also available. Vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner are served in a separate mess with a sterilized & hygienic kitchen. Recreation includes TV, the Internet, and access to newspapers & magazines. The bus facility ensures timely drop and pick-up & from the institute. IIT Roorkee - a dream

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active towards BTech students but for our course only edtech companies approach and many students are not interested in that as they either want to work in industrial companies or they want to pursue PhD. So in campus placement is very less and majority of the students take jobs outside the campus on their own. Average package a person can get is 6 LPA And it can go higher depending on the qualification and experience. Companies like byjus, akash , allen approach every year. You can apply for placements from the first semester itself.

Placement Experience:

After getting my degree I am preferring to take admission to this campus only because I am preferring to do masters from botany this campus only masters is valuable because the department of botany is the best department from other departments in this department every professor is knowledgeable, energetic understanding and helpful to every student they teach us in a proper pattern and provide notes and also teach us by Edu com and send each student's the ppt of each topic they help every student of the department and the staff members also help every student. After this, they also conduct practical classes for every student the practical classes are conducted by the professor for the student they show us spots, provide material for section cutting n then visualize each cutting in the microscope n view the internal structure of the material. This helps the student to learn more and more deeply and remember the material for a longer period. They also conduct a field trip to observe nature.

Placement Experience:

After there 6th and 8th semester Students are eligible for the placement and internship. But Fewer placement opportunities in our course as hardly 2-3 company come for placement, with an average package of 20-25k. My plans are to prepare for competitive exams.

Remarks:

Getting a seat in IIT is not a small thing as i apeared in jee advanced and i scored enough marks to get seat in IIT and i got the ims physics and im also very intrested in physics so i dont want to lose this oppurtunity so i joined this college.

This is an government institute so many companies visit our college and they give 1st preference for IITs for offering jobs and 90% of students will be hired.
