Remarks :

Cummins college completed 25 years. It is going very strong in terms of academics. It is truly fulfilling its mission of women empowerment.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very good. I took computer science as a specialization. I got to learn almost all the programming language like C,C++,VB,JAVA etc.

Internships Opportunities :

We had to do Last year project with sponsored company. Many companies like Persistent,Barclays etc provide live projects to the student. The duration of the project was 8-12 months.

Placement Experience :

Placements for the college is very good. Almost 90% students from my batch got placed through campus. Many companies like KPIT,Persistent,TCS,Infosys,Deloitte,ZS,Morgan stanley,Eaton,Cisco,Capgemini came that year for placements. Package offered 3- 8 La.

College Events :

Many of the festivals are celebrated in the college. Dahi handi of cummins college is very famous as it is all girls college. Annual technical event Technotryst where various speakers will address students on various latest technology and guide for future goals. Cultural festival is mostly in month of Feb. Many days will be celebrated from Traditional,kids,Maharashtrian etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It was affordable when i was studying. Approximately 50k-60k per year. It would have increase in the past years and shifts of the college also increased.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I dont have that much knowledge about any kind of scholarship or loan facility offered by cummins college to students.

Campus Life :

It is girls college. I participated in many extracurricular activities from dance,singing to skit competition. College encourage extra curricular activities a lot. We regularly send out teams for various intercollege competition. We also had girls team for various sports like Kho kho,cricket,basketball.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms were 3 sharing. Hostel seats are plenty. Mess food was quite good. We had option of 3 mess to choose from and we can also shift to other mess in any months.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors and Alumni helped a lot during initial years of college. During Alumni meets also many seniors come and give their valuable feedback to the student. Cummins now has strong alumni network.

Exam Structure :

Cummins college comes under pune university. Syllabus of Pune university is vast. The time between two pprs is very less. So we have to study hard to get first class.

Faculty :

Faculty for the college is very good. Head of various departments like computers,Electronics are very qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methodologies are very innovative.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Last year students gets the chance for placements. many companies came here to offer jobs for students. ex.l&t,HC,etc. for cs there is highest package of 43 lakh. for civil average package of 6-7 lakh is there. around 75-80% students gets placed. My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
