Good

Remarks :

Apart from IITs and NITs. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is better for persuing Aeronautical Engineering. They have good labs and equipment. If you are interested, can also get good aircraft maintenance experience from faculty. But, the research centre and bridge to industry not provided here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Entire course curriculum is good and we can learn many things about aircraft. Here, we don't get any opportunity for doing research. It's all interest of the students. They have good labs and equipment but we just get fair experience. Exam patterns and evaluation is fair.

Placement Experience :

For Aeronautical, you won't get core companies probably. A start-up company which is Agnikul have taken 2-3 students as core, rest has to choose in IT sector. Placements would be software or IT and mechanical companies. College won't provide internships, you have to find by yourself.

College Events :

Events and fests are good. You'll get good opportunities to prove your talent. We have technical workshops, conferences and symposium. Cultural festivals would be the best. You have lot of fun events to participate and enjoy the best with friends. You have two big fests in a year such as Yorona and Yola.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

A bit expensive but you'll get fee concession as scholarship based on pre-university results and entrance exam. I haven't attended the entrance exam but I had received 50% fee concession for my course based on my 12th class marks.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I received 50% fee concession as scholarship based on my 12th class result. You can avail fee concession based on pre-university results or by securing top ranks in entrance exam. The time of your application or admission also be concerned for availing scholarship.

Campus Life :

Can participate in workshops, cultural fests and conferences. Have good clubs such as Nebula Astroclub, Aeronerds, etc. No discrimination to gender. Also have Anti-ragging committee to forbid the ragging in college. Could provide assistance to students for their career.

Alumni/Alumna :

It depends on the person. Some seniors will provide good guidance and share knowledge with juniors and other won't consider. Faculty also will act as a bridge to alumni and students. Can get guidance and career path with alumni by getting contacts from faculty.

Admission :

I appilied directly from college, they asked me to fill the form which costs Rs 700. And after they have taken a 1 hr exam and told me that you can get the admission. So after I get the details of the exam, they told me to choose the stream of your choice.

Faculty :

Faculty was quiet qualified and our Head of Department was very talented and very experienced. His name is Mr. Ajitanshu Vedratnam Mishra currently he is in Europe nowadays. And also other faculties were also highly qualified from NIIT's and IIM's.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
