Remarks :

College management is very good and strict as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For my mechanical engineering branch, course was designed to cover most of the essential topics which helps us to develop ability to apply knowledge of mathematics science and engineering, ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs and it was relevant. Exams were really tough.

Placement Experience :

Placement record of SRM has always been good. For 2012-2016 year batch of engineering there was 6064 jobs were offered in a single day. Although for our batch it was little lower. Some of the companies who visited were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, CTS, M&M, Tata technologies and many more.

College Events :

Vajra- national level sports festival. There was exciting prize money for the winners. Innovate- national level technical festival of SRM university with good amount of exposure and collaboration with the students of various colleges Rubaroo- national level cultural festival of SRM university. It used to be full of fun and happiness at our time. There were so many events under this festival. We were having lots of participation from various colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For my batch (2013-2017), Fee structure was as below- Tution fee- 185000 per year Career development fee- 15000 per year Book fee- 15000 per year So it was 215000 as I can remember. 75000 was the amount to secure an admission. So all in all it was very expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes I applied for an scholarship in first year but since my marks were not that good in 12th so I didn't get. But for next 3 years I got 150000 each year as scholarship. The process is to fill the required form and submit it before time.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was good. Although it is known that for mechanical and civil branch no. Of girls are very less in most of the colleges in india. We were having students from all across india so it was very diverse. We were having various clubs for extra curricular activities as below- Environment club Quizzers club Adventure club Social service club

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, 1st year stays at separate block. Hostel rooms were good. For our batch 2013-2017 the hostel fee was rs.70000 per year with rs.5000 of security deposit. PG's are also available nearby and it was little bit cheaper but again it depends on PG's condition.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes our seniors were very helpful they used to guide us what is good for our career and where should we focus more. They were also fun loving so we used to sing, act, debate and discuss very often.

Admission :

In year 2012 I was preparing for JEE in Varanasi where one of my friend told me about the college and he was filling the form for SRMJEEE so I also applied for the same. Few months later, I got my examination centre in Varanasi only. I gave the exam and got selected through it.

Faculty :

We were having 5-6 lectures a day and we were bound to attend laboratory and workshops. Teachers were very good in their respective subjects. They were very much helpful in clearing doubts lab assistant were also there to help us performing the experiments.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can start getting placement if they had done an internship with any company. Otherwise, in the 7th and 8th semesters, most of the students get the placement. Many renowned companies come and offer jobs in college. About 70 percent of the students get the placement.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college have been great so far. All the major companies and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, DELL, etc came for placements this year. The average package this year for BTECH students was 8.6 lakhs per annum. Also, the highest package so far has been 44 lakhs p.a. Almost all students are placed with good packages so it is an ideal choice to choose Bennett University for higher education.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.
