Remarks :
Apart from other colleges the fees structure is feasible and the facilities gives a friendly atmosphere. But institution need to produce new techniques to improve the results.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually it's under the Kerala Technological University, there are certain criteria which should be done by each student's in order to get the certificate(for example is that the industrial visit). So for that the college will be helpful in completing that. Apart from that comparing with other colleges,the facilities here is not upto the satisfaction and also sometimes fails to complete the academics. Not only among the faculties but also the service provided by the college management is not upto the mark and is given unnecessary or false information to others so as to get new admissions( for example is that one of the news before I was joining this college is that it's 100% fully surrounded wifi campus. It may seems silly but the wrong information should not be given to the public so as to get these new admissions).
Placement Experience :
In our college the placement drives will conducted every year. But the thing is the companies coming here will be mostly based on computer science field and till now no mechanical based company came for the placement procedures.
College Events :
Tech fest are conducted every year but from last year due to lack of students the amount needed to conduct this programme was too short and the institution has only provided only less amount. Arts day, farewell programmes are also conducted every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Here the fee structure is feasible compared with others colleges. My annual fee structure is 50000. Caution deposit has to be paid along with the fee structure and the PTA fund. Exam fees are also given along with this. Actually the fees can be paid through either online or from the bank. The bank provided is the Indian bank. Certain codes are given to each student in terms of the admission number,branch id and other relative informations. Usually most of the students can't pay the whole amount at the beginning because of financial problem. But the College gives some time in order to pay the fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I've not opted any College offers certain scholarship opportunities to the students who attained good entrance ranks and there will be a reduction of 10000 to 40000 rupees
Campus Life :
For me campus life is not much enjoyable. As I'm a mechanical student, I knows only about the things going through the mechanical sections. There is no girls in our class but for the juniors there maybe 1 or 2 girl present in a class. Certain workshops are conducted each year by the institution and also certain classes are provided by the experienced people in order to get good idea among the course. As there are arts day and sports day, there is no much programmes based on these. But there are a number of programmes based on technologies. Due to this is a muslim based college, most of the facilities and students here are muslims and the people living around the college are mostly Muslims.
Alumni/Alumna :
I have few good senior friends from my college. They helped me a lot in terms of advices as well as in studies. They told me that don't attend any placement based on the computer field. Instead try to study new course based on mechanical field(higher studies) or specialise in any of the sectors in this field.
Admission :
I got admission here from merit seat, Joined here before August 1, 2016, Actually I was looking toch engineering college, But when I gave the college list for admission, the first college I got was here and it's mostly near to me, So I decided to study here.
Faculty :
It will be around 100 faculties including director, principal, HOD, assistant professors,lab staffs and the maintenance staffs. Average age limit will vary upto 40 and each will have atleast an Mtech degree. As I said earlier,the facilities here is not upto the satisfaction and also sometimes fails to complete the academics.
