Remarks :
The University is really good however, infrastructure needs to be improved. The University itself isn't well maintained. The washrooms are not that clean and lack the latest equipment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is amazing. In the first semester, students are taught khayal, in the second, Bengali songs, in the third, kirtan and dhrupad, in the fourth knowledge of raga and folks songs and taal and laya, in the fifth, thumri and taal again, in the sixth, pala kirtan, khayal, dhrupad, etc. Overall, the Bachelor's course offers a variety of styles of Indian music equipping the student very well in the future so that he can establish himself as a successful musician or musicologist.
