Good college with good ambience and moderate facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was not updated while i was studying but now it is. We had special grooming classes to appear campus interviews. But we had to go to pool drives in other colleges in collaboration with our cooperative society. No companies came to our college.

Placement Experience

Internship was coordinated and arranged by ourselves in AIR, the cooperative society CAPE, under which the college is, provides campus interview oportunities

College Events

Tech fest, seminars, woman empowerment programs, arts fest, sports fest, Onam / christmas / Eid celebrations, college day, fare well, Alumni meet. All the events are so good and have 100% participation from students. Most of these events are organized and conducted by students union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

B.tech ECE- 35K Is the college fees per year and exam fee is the only additional fee. You can pay fees in cash/ demand draft. To get admission, we paid Rs. 19K that was for Caution deposit, library fees, lab fees and PTA fund. Fee is to be paid at the starting of every year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship of 30k was provided by Merit cum means which is only for minority community. We can apply it through online

Campus Life

My class had more girls, not sure of the overall gender ratio in college. Had equality in every aspect. We had a healthy politics inside campus. There is no differentiation in gender, race, religion, or economic status. Regular workshops based on latest trends were organized in college.

We have a whatsapp group with our seniors and juniors where we share useful info, alumni meet is conducted every year

I got admission in this college by my self to clear the exam AIEEE and got very good rank in haryana so I opted this college through counseling and they give me a seat in this college.after counseling 3 days we have to get thier seat submit thier documents to final the seat.

Faculty

Good, We had very qualified and hardworking faculties. Many of them do not spoon feed and make you mug up things, they will teach you and preparing for exams is all in your hands. Faculties are not very strict. They give freedom to ask doubt's and questions and are friendly

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Life in PEC

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home.
