Remarks :

It is chill here. I think chill is a very small word to be honest. its chill at Antarctica here. course curriculum is very tough which gives us a very good chance to focus on our all round development and also can explore new things and learn something out of the box.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Placement Experience :

IIT BHU has a median salary package of 11 lakh for a btech graduate student. And also a hundred percent placement record over a past few years. internships are also there in the top firms with a very handsome stipend. I think this is the best start in India that a fresher engineer can get.

College Events :

cultural fest here is Kashiyatra with a footfall of more than 70, 000 people every year. spardha is the annual sports meet. Technex is the annual techno-management fest. all the attracts a huge number of students from all over India.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible as IITS have a fee structure which is dependent on the annual family income and most of the students get rebate on the tution fees. Also paying the full fees is also worth it beacause of the facilities and exposure provided by the institute.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is great when compared to the the other engineering colleges of the country. Student from diverse part of the countries gather over here which provide a great exposure of all the diverse people of our country.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel. Rooms are are a bit old when compared to the modern infrastructure but overall the hostels are very spacious and are well connected with wifi(what else do you need). There are beautifull lawns in every hostel and also sports equipments to play.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

One of the best Almuni network across all the IITs. Which gives a great help to the students for their placements. Seniors are also very helpful. They are the only way we can get good grades. Almuni network is spread across the globe.

Admission :

JEE Mains and advanced is the only way. But the most important is the counselling process which includes the filling of branches and IITS in the desired order which is the most hectic and tedious task of the process. I was first selected for metallurgical engineering and later changed the branch to mechanical base on the cpi of first sem.

Faculty :

IITs are known to have the best faculties in India being the premier institution of the country. They are very keen to help us out in all academic work but here the scenario is a bit different as one would think. Students mostly do self study and do not rely on faculties but on other sources ( especially online courses).

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me.
