Remarks :

Life is quite happening. Placement is awesome. Secured Future. weak aspect is sometimes we have to attend guest lectures on Friday too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The academic profile is completely different. We have flexible credit based system. International Credit Transfer schemes are there. Faculty members are highly qualified and majority are doctorates.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

You get the best internship opportunities at Chandigarh University. After 4th and 6th semester there are 4 weeks of internships and in final year we generally get opportunity for paid internships of 6 months.

Placement Experience :

Placement is awesome. Infact its the best in the region. Many core companies like Godrej, Atlas, Royal Enfield, Indigo, Denso, Hyundai etc are regular recruiters in Mechanical department.

Campus Life :

CU Fest is a cultural fest where all India institutes participate. Almost every weekend we have Tashan Nites, Live Concerts, Bollywood celebrities visit etc. Classrooms and labs are well furnished and well-equipped.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are very good. Hostel facility is available on first come and first serve basis. Food is good. Mess is kept clean.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

You can taking admission through JEE Mains or by appearing in CUCET. You also need to have minimum 55% marks in 12th or equivalent exams.

Placement Experience:

For third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hitachi and many more companies are visit for placement in chandigarh university. Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

All about the College (CU)

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

All You Need to Know About Dr.SSBUICET , Panjab University Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Or students can opt for higher studies masters, MBA , abroad opportunities. Around 45 companies visited for placements with average 5 offers per company.

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I was not able to get admission in pec and this college was the only option. Academics wise its good. Faculties are good. The bad side is the college life you expect its almost zero there. No social life. There are only 5-600 students in the campus. And pretty bad cafeteria.

Admission:

To get the admission here you have to appear for jee mains. And according to the cutoffs you will get the admission. I prepared for it with my normal tutions.
