Remarks

Kiit law school overall is a decent college and is doing good in the field of law, it's the first law college in the country to implement the revised syllabus according to the bar council of India, it provides excellent Infrastructure in the form of a great library, classroom etc. Placements have been decent. Overall it's a fair college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is well structured and well designed, 10 semesters spread across 5 years, 6-7 subjects each semester, each subject carrying 100 marks (30- Internals(10 X 3), 20- Mid Sem, 50- End Sem).

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements have been decent, although a bit sluggish in the last two years but they have still been decent, Not many Law firms visit the college but the major chunk of the recruiters are Banks, LPOs, Insurance Companies etc.

College Events

4

Many events are organised all across the year, starting from the law school fest, moot court event, mock trial event, cultural events, sports events like futsal and cricket, other miscellaneous festivals etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure happens to be expensive. Semester fee happens to be Rs. 1, 45, 000/-, 3 bedded room AC hostel fee happens to be Rs. 40, 000/-, 2 bedded room AC hostel fee is Rs. 60, 000/-, 2 bedded room non AC hostel fee is Rs. 28, 000/-

Campus Life

4

KIIT LAW SCHOOL Gender Ratio is 2:3 in the favour of girls, the student community gets ample opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities that not only help the students escape from the rigorous grinds of law studies but also builds and shapes their creative sides and soft skills.

Hostel Facilities

4

Alumni/Alumna

My interaction with seniors was very fruitful, they legit handed me the mantra of how to survive the place, amidst all the pressure and everything, the seniors have been very helpful and guiding me and other students and providing them with the correct path.

Admission

Candidate has to appear for KIITEE (KIIT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION), if cleared, he or she will be called up for the counseling procedure, alongside KIITEE even CLAT marks are also accepted and taken into account for the process of admission.

Faculty

3.5

Standard of the faculty of the college is at par, some profeesors or teachers are excellent while some fail to ignite any interest in the students regarding the subject or the topic they are teaching.

Final year students are eligible for campus placements. As the Law department is newly opened, there is no direct placement. We have to go through internships and there after assessment internships to grab the PPO. Till now some of the alumni of the law department have placed in tier 1 law firm which is a very good sign about the placement cell of law school.
