Entrance Preview :

MPPET. I scored 106 out of 200 in the MPPET exam in 2011. I took admission in BE in biomedical engineering. I took this course as it is an upcoming course and is not a conventional course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was well decided by the faculties of our department and they kept the curriculum updated. It was based on the present techniques and technology. Students had to have a minimum attendance of 70%.

Internships Opportunities :

I did my internship from IIT Bombay. The internship period lasted a month. And we did the internship on imaging techniques. We received a stipend of 3000 rs.

Placement Experience :

Placement began in our seventh sem n there were a lot of opportunities for everyone. Various companies offered various packages. The range of the packages offered was 3.01 lacs to 6 lacs.

College Events :

An annual event took place in our college in march. It was known as aayam. The fest was 3 days long and had a lot of activities. Students from other colleges use to come to participate in the events. On the last day cultural night used to be organised where a dance competition within the various branches used to take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure varied for all branches. We had to pay 56000 per year. The fee structure was such that the tuition fee was 56000 per year and the exam fee was taken separately of 3600 per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. I did not avail any scholarship. Although a lot of scholarships were offered to students good in academics.

Campus Life :

The campus life was awesome. Workshops were regularly organised in our college on various topics and interested students could attend them.I did not come across any discrimination in my college. Pratimimb was an art committee in our college that gave students a chance to showcase their artistic side.

Alumni/Alumna :

Every year an alumini meet took place in our college. And all the alumini used to contribute towards the betterment of our college. They are ready to help all students.

Exam Structure :

The exams used to go on for a month. And they were not very hectic as we used to get holidays between all our papers.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

My college

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
