Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was well researched and the exam structure was pretty relaxing which doesn’t put unnecessary pressure on us students. 3 exams were held over the semester and lab facilities are all available for us at any time.

Placement Experience :

The placement policy is pretty good. The placement cell assists us to develop a perspective about our career. A job fair is also organized for final year students. The college coordinates with companies and maintains relations with them for effective recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is reasonable. My fees for the first year was approximately 60K. Hostel fees, accommodation charges, and transportation charges include the rest of the additional expenses excluded from the fees.

Campus Life :

Our college promotes the overall growth of an individual for which it encourages us to participate in extracurricular activities. The campus life is also amazing with a good hostel facility. Cultural and social events are also conducted regularly for us.

Admission :

I applied for B.Tech in mechanical and got my admission on merit basis through my 12th class marks. The two-third of B.Tech seats are filled through merit. The remaining few of my batch mates got admission through management quota and some also joined in through lateral entry.

Faculty :

Our teachers have an appropriate educational background. They are helpful and make studies fun. They often demonstrate the theory to us in practice for a better understanding of the subject they are teaching.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree
