NIFT has its own entrance test for getting seat in NIFT university.the exam has two phases one is computer/written based exam with aptitude general knowledge,fashion knowledge, and English is syllabus for this and second phase is group discussion followed by personal interview.

There are two types of internships we do in our college tenure.one after 2nd semester for 2 months and second in 4th semester for 4 months. In internship we gain a lot of knowledge about industry and its functioning.Minimum stipend can be expected is 7k to 25k.

Placements and job opportunities are abundant because of less competition and brand name of NIFT place an important role in separation fashion students from NIFT and others.

There are few events conducted by NIFT college they are 1. Fashion Olympiad 2. Calista (competition to management students in setting up a retail store and run it profitably for 3 days.) 3. NIFT annual Fest (cultural and social events) 4. NIFT Converge(sports events)5. Freshers (Welcoming freshers)6. Farewell

Fee structure for NIFT is feasible compared to other fashion management colleges. Here in NIFT they collect 75k for each semester for 4semesters for master students.

yeah college is providing a fee dicount of 25% to 50% based on rank for OBC,SC and ST students. and banks are also providing education loan for students who want to join NIFT.

Campus life is very different from other university campuses since NIFT is a fashion campus where an abundant creative knowledge and information flows. NIFT campus is pleasant with good infrastructure. It has good ground for sports and an auditorium for extra curricular activities.

NIFT is providing Hostel for only girls and hostel is good can give 4 out of 5 rating. Food is provided in college canteen for affordable prices and good food.

Students of alumni are in almost all brands,design houses and manufacturing units helping each NIFT student to get placed. NIFT has a good network of alumni

There are two types of evaluation of marks in NIFT 1. mid term 2. end term Till mid term they conduct assignments for 60 marks which are called internals for each subject after that they conduct external exams called end term for 40 marks based on that CGPA foe each student is given

Faculty for each subject are highly professional and they give a good guidance to every student. They also have a very good relationship with brands and manufacturing units. they not only teach they help every student to get internship and placed in a good brand or a designing house.
