Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science is a part of Muthoot group, like any other filed they are committed towards excellence in their field. They not only have the best curriculum but they also support it with the best infrastructure, along with highly qualified teachers and excellent on campus placements which focuses on overall development of all students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course offers 360 learning process of students through classroom learning, project based learning, attending conferences, development of prototype skills, improvement in soft skills and collaboration with industries for add on courses and projects. They also invite lecturers for special workshop trainings to keep the knowledge at par with the happenings in the industry.

Placement Experience :

After completing civil engineering one can secure a job as CAD technician, consulting civil engineer, designer engineer, site engineer, rural and urban transport engineer. The institute also offers internship opportunity to nurture overall growth of students. The placements are conducted in the campus during the time of completion of the course and major companies like TCS, Cognizant, Triassic Solutions, Hexaware Tech, IBS Software, Wipro, IBM etc and many such companies hire students of Muthoot institute.

College Events :

The institute embraces the culture of the country and organises events which encourages participations from students on the occasion of Independence day, Republic day etc. In additional to cultural fests the institute also organises talk shows to share knowledge on technical aspects, current changes in the technical field, experiments being done in the field and even helping out the government by participating in conducting surveys

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is reasonable and the break up is available on the website under the admission bar. The tuition fee may be approximately Rs.50000-75000 per semester, in addition to that there would be some miscellaneous fees payable like admission fees, PTA, stationery etc which would cost another Rs.35000-40000 which would be payable one time.

Campus Life :

The institute is active in terms of ensuring overall education of students beyond classrooms and therefore organizes various technical activities, site/industrial visits and internship training to nurture the skills of students. In terms of amenities the institute offers a fully equipped and spacious building which supports all the learning requirements of students.

Alumni/Alumna :

The institute encourages on maintaining an alumnus base by having a log in panel on the website which shares information about the current achievements of the alumnus and even shares information on job opportunities.

Admission :

The Muthoot Institute specialises in engineering related courses and one of the best in the country. I pursued my Btech in computer science and engineering from here which has 60 seats for this course. The admission process is carried online through their website http://mgmits.ac.in/ and the students must meet the eligibility criteria and submit necessary documents like personal ID documents and qualifications papers to complete the process.

Faculty :

The entire faculty base is highly educated with everyone having minimum qualification of Mtech and the rest are all PhD holders. They focus on teaching with real life examples, case studies and the course curriculum is also assignments based which helps understand better. The institute also has a separate team of technical staff which helps in sharing knowledge with sheer technical aspects.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
