Remarks :

Well since I had good and bad both experiences in the college which can be shared personally I don't have any comments on this as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was theory-based so I have a shear knowledge about the workings of a mechanical component. Yes, we were groomed properly by we lack practical knowledge, which I'm eager for. There were industrial visits to factories in our town. Also, I attended internship program at Numaligarh Refinery at Assam.

Placement Experience :

IBM, lava mobiles, l&t infotech, Wipro, etc were a few of the many companies that visited our campus. Attendance and graduation percentage approximation were the two main recruitment procedures. No, not all students were placed in my batch, out of 120 14 were placed. Yes, we were groomed for a personal interview.

College Events :

We had a number of events occurring at our college like high dignities like the education minister of Assam, the president of India, top faculties from IIT colleges came in for lectures. Our cultural event CONCENSIO is one of the finest events held in the state after ALCHERINGA held at IIT-G.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The program fee was either to be paid half-yearly, or full yearly and mode of payment was a check or online bank transfer. No additional fees was charged for admission. Yes, it did provide transparent fee-breakdown details which included lab equipment, hostel fees, exam fees, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes the college did offer scholarships depending upon topping the exam, concession to different casts but I couldn't opt for a scholarship or loan

Campus Life :

The gender ratio was about 10:6 boys: girls, there weren't any dorm parties, on birthdays we had a recreational hall that can be used. Parties were prohibited at the dorm. There was a student diversity as students came from all the neighboring states so I could experience a bit of this and that from all the nearby states.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel was a great one as it provided hygienic vegetarian food. The was a gym, swimming pool, horse riding, lawn tennis court, and many other outdoor sports facilities as well as indoors. Hostel wardens were strict and WiFi was accessible at the room so it was great.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our alumni help us in a vast was as few of them opened a coaching institute for entrance exams and concession is provided to college students. And a seniors' teaching experience is better than a professor s' ( I feel so)

Admission :

I wanted to prepare for IIT-JEE but due to my mother's death, I had to enter college as my father wanted me to, chose mechanical engineering since automobile engineering wasn't there and as I was good in vehicle designing so wanted to learn IC ENGINES I took the course on 19th July 2011. The college was referred by my father's colleague. Admission was based on class 12 results and interviews and an oral exam by the Dean of the college.

Faculty :

The faculty was new as the college was recently opened but they had experience as it was a theory-based course. We had a good ratio of teacher to student so communication with faculty was good and the faculty worked alongside dealing with our educational needs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, placements were dissapointing however it is getting better day by day. The major hindrance is the location factor but TnP cell works very hard to bring companies and to provide students with equal opportunities.
