Remarks

The college is pretty good and faculties here are highly educated and always helping. You'll enjoy both your learning as well as your college life as it also includes lunch swimming pool educational trips industrial visits to different states it is a bit expensive but it's worth for what students will learn from the college even students around you are hardworking which will always push you to work harder. The college environment is peaceful and learnable. Its the infrastructure is also good there are clubs and labs where you can practice your learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is quite good it covers all the subjects and practices which are learnt by BA students learning about Hotel Management and Catering putting all the major disciplines of the courses will be innovative, flexible and practice-oriented. It is of 3 years which follow semester wise approach having finals in the last month of the semester and also internal exams

Students have tons of job opportunities after graduating or they can go for civil services. It guarantees of 100% placement. It offers with packages of 15000 and can go up. Campus interviews are held for the selection.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the first year, it lets you pay 101000 INR and it's the same for every year(for 3years) but it's worth as what people will gain from the college. The total I paid for the whole course duration was around Rs. 3lakhs.

Campus Life

4.5

The university provides tons of new books in libraries which lets student connect with different information and manages them to polish their skills in their field area. Annual events are held where many sports, and dance competition are held for students which can be enjoyed at its finest. The college had various setups for hotel management like a bakery, laundry and front office, etc for students' practice.

Admission

Candidates should have obtained minimum qualifying marks in 10,10+2. One can appear the in house exams of the entrance at Atharva College. Atharva College provides BA course which is of 3 year with 2 streams i.e. Hotel Management and Catering Operations , Hospitality Studies. Students interested can learn and practice for better understanding.

Faculty

5

Here, the teachers are quite strict but kind and gentle as well towards students. I liked the way of teachers to help weak students by working on them asking them if they understood and points and revising the topics in the next classes, which helped us study better.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from Semester 6. There are numerous companies like Zomato, The Quint, Hindu etc that visit the campus and whose offers are made for the students. The highest package offered has been INR 7 lacs per annum and the Average package is INR 3.60 Lacs per annum. The campus placements has been 85% based on the number of students that opted for it. My plans after getting my degree is to go ahead for my masters in either creative writing or marketing and then start working on a job but this may change.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to join this course from a long time as I was very interested in the same. The faculty is great and students ratio is also quite good but teachers try to focus n give time to each students.Teachers are also amazing they give there 100 percent to the students..They also have doubt lecture before every exams and also conduct phycological evaluation for every student before the exam so that the students doesn't have any kind of pressure..Term exams are conducted 2(twice) a year, if the student is studying well you can pass the exam very easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen BA arts as my curriculum cause I have had an intrest in Psychology and I am thinking of pursuing a further career in it. Our stream is having around 15-20 faculty members and each class strength is around 120 and there are 4 divisions. Almost all of the faculty members are having phd degree and everyone is having a unique teaching method and very likely we enjoy the lectures of all the faculty members. The teaching is really good. For this year that is for FY, I was having 2 online exams one for each term and it was MCQ type questions and answers. The exams level difficulty is moderate.

Remarks:

My college has a lot so it can be best not only in our city or state but also in a country. But we are lacking planning which has clarity and implementation of the same. We need to be more optimistic and our college has to build some basic infrastructure and facilities where they are lacking and guidance support for every stream of students so we can do better in future and obviously at present which requires teamwork but before that leader should be there who can take all people's accountability and start this thing.
