Remarks :

The college can surely improve in the schedule, I mean the daily routine for it provides sometimes a very hectic schedule and sometimes it is very chilled out.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course of b.tech in this college has been really good especially because of good teaching wonderful friends and much more There are internal lab assignments practicals and semester examinations.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of the college is average and provides decent opportunities to its students, but as a student, it's your duty to attend all the workshops and seminars organized by the college. It is best for ECE, electrical and mechanical department.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of the college is good and it provides immense facilities to the students like wifi, canteen, well-constructed laboratory and much more. The fees of the college are around 42,000 and I consider it to be on good terms taking into consideration value for money.

Campus Life :

The college is full of hustle and bustle all around the year. There are cultural fests, technical fests, debates, and many other entertaining events. Many social awareness programs are also organized to create awareness among society.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is good and alumni meets are organized where they come, inspire and motivate us. The seniors too are really good and helpful and take care of us like their own brother and sister.

Admission :

I got admission into this college through the joint entrance examination. The examination and counseling are all in online mode. You can even get admission through the management quota, but the fees they will be slightly on the higher side.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is very good and supportive and you can extract the maximum out of them by proper attention in the classes. Ask for doubts, if any. They understand the inner psyche of the students and act accordingly to bring out the best in them.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
