Remarks :

The positive points of our college includes availability of job opportunities for the development of the students in to well known professionals. Also the overall environment of the college is very friendly. The availability of placement cell also make the environment tension free. Apart from it, the availability of a distance educational program makes the student flexible enough to carry on with their internships and also gain education continuously.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The distance education program at the Punjab Technical University provides the students with the very detailed syllabus so that the student can feel the experience of a physical college. The objective of the distance education from this Punjab Technical college is to give affordable and skilled base knowledge to all of the students who applied for the courses.

Placement Experience :

In our college many placement opportunities are provided to the students. A one week short term training program is provided for the development of the skills of all of the students. Aong with all these, job fest and job fair are also organised by the faculty of the college. Joint campus placement drives are also placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The masters of computer application that is the MCA course is of the duration of 3 years. The fee for all of the three years is same that is 21400 rupees. Grand total of the masters of Computer Application programs is 65000 rupees approximately which is a very average option.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship for the students of post matric are provided by the Punjab government authorities. You can always apply for the scholarships by following the online portal of Dr Ambedkar scholarship program.

Campus Life :

A sports centre has been developed by the concerned authorities of the college. Every year a sports calendar is launched by the authorities and according to the sports calendar many sports activities take place. Extra curricular activities includes inter college competition and youth festival which develop the confidence level of the students.

Admission :

When I completed my under graduation I wanted to get admission in a college whicj provided me distance education so I went to this college in Punjab and fill out the application form via online mode. I paid the registration fee in the form of demand draft. My name was thus included in the merit list of the college.

Faculty :

There are almost 15 professors available for the students of the distance education in Punjab Technical university. The professors provide regular insights about the curriculum to the students by the medium of online classes and platforms.

Placement Experience:

here in LPU, in my case, which is MCA Master of computer application, the placement starts at the third and intern. It also offers internship at at the end of the second semester. MCA course is only Of four semesters that is two year program and in four year program that is in BTech. The placement starts in the last year and the MCA students and the BTech CSE students sit together in the placements as they all are from IT fields and the companies visiting for both are, mostly same, so we sat together in the placements

A DEEP DIVE INTO COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the placement from the 3rd year itself based on the academic credentials and pass percentage and credits. Number of companies eligible for the particular course is quite less compared to engineering courses which are accurate. Placement opportunities should be provided to all the genuine and hardworking students irrespective of those who have paid the placement training.
