Remarks :
Overall my experiences are going good at this place. I'm happy for my future and I am sure I will leave the university with flying colours and loads of memories.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum and exam structure is designed according to the latest patterns followed by most of the top institutions. It helps the students to learn in a very efficient way so that they can face the industrial revolution 4.0. The course is designed so as to teach the students the latest trends taking place in modern industries. The curriculum is fully industry oriented.
Placement Experience :
Every student wants to get placed in a good and reputed firm or industries for securing their future and Chandigarh University never leaves a stone unturned to do the same. This institution is known for its ample numbers of recruiters coming to every teat for the placement drives. Last year more than 5000 students got placed in good and reputed firms like google, amazon, Flipkart etc.
College Events :
College becomes a family once you leave your home. The university always keeps a check on the student's overall developments by organizing fests, Dj nights.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure initially looks expensive but when compared to other universities and facilities provided over there the fees structure here seems reasonable. The fee structure is divided into four parts of Tuition fees (Depends on the course we choose). Hostel fees (if opted for a hostel). Examination fees, Security fees, Red Cross fees, At the time of admission we Rs 10k but that money is further adjustable in tuition fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I haven't opted for any scholarships or education loan. But there is the facility for both. Scholarships are provided based on your JEE scores or CUSAT scores or performances and for education loans, university admission team will itself guide you at the time of admission.
Campus Life :
You are going to get a world-class exposure here at CU. You will feel the ambience of being one in hundreds of culture. Here we have students from Africa, Thailand, Nigeria, France and from many other countries. We have open spaces like Eternal Garden near the fountain and believe me its the most happening place in the university. We have everything here which you wish to be in like gyms, clubs, food courts, ice cream parlours, sports shops, dance rooms, music rooms, tennis courts, basketball courts etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There are various types of hostel room available. 1) Two seaters 2) Three seatres 3) Four seaters The fees varies according to the type we choose. We have the option of selecting an AC room Or Non Ac room. The hostel mess provides us with hygienic and tasty food four times a day starting from the breakfast followed by lunch then evening snacks and lastly dinner at night. The security is also very good. They make sure that no student faces the security issues within the hostel campus. We have housekeepers which daily visits our rooms and cleans them.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, the alumni network of this university is way more string. Our seniors always guide us through their experiences and roller coaster rides, their struggles and all. They guide us for placements, career, etc.
Admission :
Chandigarh University is known for its good placement records and student-oriented curriculum. It has been awarded NAAC A+ recently. The faculties here at CU are very cooperative and resourceful in their respective approach based on the student needs. The mechanical department here is fully contained with best of the faculties and top techs.
Faculty :
Chandigarh University is known for being a student-friendly university which also helped the university to bag NAAC A+. Now discussing the faculties here at Chandigarh University especially of Mechanical engineering branch. Majority of the faculty members are doctorates and alumnus of institutions like IIT, NIT, IISC and other foreign institutions.
