Remarks :
D. H. S. K. College is the most memorable and lovable to me. it taught me many life lessons as well as how to present myself to the world. The faculty and staff are also very good, friendly and helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course provides us with research work as well as survey work. There are also extra curricular activities in the department as well as in the college campus. the curriculum as well as extra curriculum helps us to know our abilities and skills thourough which we can become more active and learn many things.
Placement Experience :
Many seminars are held which provides knowledge and prepares a student to develop their skills and abilities to be successful in life.
College Events :
Many events are organized including youth fest which includes participation of different colleges, college week, cultural programs during any occassion like bihu, republic day, independence day, etc. Also there are many sports events during college week, also intercollege competition is held.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure is very feasible. and is affordable by all types of people. and also there are reserved seats for poor as well as physically disabled students. fees is payable by cash and admission is given on the basis of merit of the students. there is full transparncy in fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, the college provided scholarship opportunities for every students. there are certain elegibility criteria to avail the scholarship offer. Some of the criteria are merit, caste, whether under BPL category or not, family background, etc.
Campus Life :
There are equal number of boys and girls in the campus. Many workshops, seminars, sports events, cultural programs are organized. Active participation of the students are also seen. There is also college elections held. There is no gender inequality. every caste, religion, race, status students are there and they live like a family.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is also very good. there are two hostel, one for girls and other for boys. The girls hostel is quite big with almost 1000 students. The rooms are two sitter, thouree sitter, four sitter. the warden of the hostel is also very good and polite. the mess food is also good. the boys hostel also have the same facility as the girls hostel but there are nearly 100 students. Moreover there are many pgs near the college campus providing good hygienic environment.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very polite, friendly and helpful. they are always ready to help us with any work. They also interact with the junior regarding any department work.
Admission :
I got my admission on merit basis. At first form filling was done then submit within the provided date. Then after few days the merit list was given followed by the details of the admission procedure alongside the admission date. Then the admission was given.
Faculty :
There are Highly qualified teachers. They have very fluent teaching quality as well as very good, polite and helpful. They teaches us course related subjects as well as also provides us knowledge about different subjects. They also groom us for our future.
