Remarks :
Higher management is good but I feel personally professors deserve more respect as compared to what they get. The almost maximum burden of work faced by assistant professors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If we talk about the course and syllabus course is designed in a good manner. The theoretical part is good but the department is lacking with practical aspects if we talk about in the science domain. Three MST are held in our time now it's reduced to two monthly tests. Practical marks internal-external, assignments quiz, seminar, practicals are also conducted by students and teachers.
Placement Experience :
Now talk about placement is good and Chandigarh university is famous for placements not limited to engineering and MBA, placements are good and very impressive in other departments also. Google, IBM, Oracle, Mahindra and some famous company visits the campus for placements. more than 400 company come to recruit the students.
College Events :
If we talk about programme, events I guess there is no university to compete Chandigarh university due to their wide dynamic culture. Almost every week functions are held DSW team are excellent at CU. Personally I thanks to Kang sir he is genuinely helpful by nature and don to forget to mention Mr Manish Jhangra sir.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees of msc forensic science is now 50000 per sem at my time approx 45000 are their. There is extra fees excluding exam fees twice in a year. Fees are transparent thier is no hidden or extra charges for student. Various Mode of payments are available like cash, dd, cheque, online, from account too. whichever is suitable for you u can opt. Fees are almost same or less as compare to other university or institute.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
University offers scholarship various kind of scholarship are available like sc/st scholarship, cu cet scholarship, I get a special scholarship by Chancellor sir and VC sir due to my marks or cgpa. university support students.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. Green campus, gender ratio is also good like 50 50, Fully wifi campus more than 20 small big cafeteria are their, dominos are available on the campus. CCD, Subway are their and various other outlets so overall campus is so good and I welcome you to join CU. Definitely you'll enjoy your journey.
Alumni/Alumna :
Being an alumni of the university I want the need to plan or conduct alumni meet. Second thing I want to raise in university I observe every rule is compelled for each department but I feel department or institute have to work according to their requirements and nature of the work. Department of forensic science are facing placement issues so kindly focus on placements.
Admission :
I want to pursue forensic science because Msc forensic is my interested area. Second, I want to live near Chandigarh. Very fewer numbers of the university are available for forensic science and toxicology. Chandigarh university only offers msc forensic science and toxicology in India under the guidance of Pharmacist Dr Manish Goswami.
Faculty :
Only thing faculty is so good, very brilliant faculty is higher by management but due to some circumstances, they left the university very quickly. Some of the unavoidable situation like work pressure, salary issues, some of the case higher management also play a role.
