Remarks :

My experience is really good at CU. They only complain students generally make is of compulsory 75% attendance. Otherwise its great experience in CU.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A completely research-driven course curriculum, completely relevant to the national and international framework, designed with inputs from renowned industry leaders. They have very smartly divided the subjects as core and electives. Every major topic which was required to clear competitive examinations such as CSIR NET and GATE were covered in core domains.

Placement Experience :

100% internship in reputed institutions such as IIT Indore, CSIR, IIM, NIPER Mohali, ICAR and renowned industries such as SUN PHARMA, CADILA, SANTIS PHARMA, GARNIER, ACC Cement and many more. I remember our batch has gone for internship in more than 35 industries and institutes, thanks to the efforts of our department who gave our best to refer us.

College Events :

Events celebrated, every day at CU is a celebration. What not is being celebrated, from every national to international event or festival is celebrated. The event I like the most was CU fest and Tech Invent that are their annual events. They were AIU All India Inter-university North zone runner up 1n 2018 and winner in 2019. Currently, they are All India Youth fest Champions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

CU is having a lower fee structure in comparison to its other rivals in area except government institutions. You can pay it online or through banks or cash/card in account branch of CU. Even in campus 3 banks (SBI, HDFC and J&K bank branches are available with multiple ATM points).Full transparency in fee break down.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I availed a merit scholarship on the basis of my graduation marks and then further on basis of my CGPA. I had not gone through education loan but my friend in Physics department of CU has gone through. It was really simple. They had a separate cell for this. You can get a education loan at reasonable low interest rate.

Campus Life :

Rich in diversity. Students from every state of India and more than 12 nationalities makes the campus crowd a colorfull place. gender ratio is almost equelent. In my course it was a bit lower for boys, but otherwise in campus its almost equivalent. Number of cultural societies are available, every regional festival is celebrated.

Alumni/Alumna :

As I stated earlier its a young university, but this does not mean its alumni is not so strong. CU has given some new, successful entrepreneurs to our country and best employees too. Miss Asia, Miss Tourism Universe Tanya Mittal, Bhagwan Singh - Asian games rowing champion, Ankit Bhat - Journalist NEWS 18, Head in J & K, Trilok Singh an entrepreneur - Gear Technologies, Parry G- Bollywood singer- IGT fame, Nikhil Sharma- CEO WcarPS and many more the list is long.

Admission :

I took admission in June 2017. The admission procedure is so very simple. You should have a minimal of 50% marks in aggregate in B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the major subject. They give admission on first come first serve basis. But seats are limited. You either visit their website or regional centre or campus with all your documents in hand, rest leave on them.

Faculty :

With a student to teacher ratio of 14:1, a great number of well qualified and competent teachers are there. Most of them are PhD, NET qualified and experienced. Faculty from rich industry background were also there. Every teacher was well versed in their subject and specialised in their fields. You will get a specialised teacher for each subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Msc chemistry course has alot benifits as after completing the course we can do further studies or can opt for pharmacy, clinical research associate, chemist, lab assistant and further more options are there. In my opinion the changes that I want is that practical needs to more precise and should be performed under well guidance of the teacher so that every student can easily learn the procedure and have good knowledge.

Remarks:

The institute offers great opportunities. The faculty is very prominent. The subjects offered are suitable for my career choice. The infrastructure, including the library adds to the charm. It's been a good decision so far.

Placement Experience:

In my course most of the students plan to pursue P. Hd. but those who want to be placed are helped by the University placement cell. Companies like Policy Bazaar, Reliance Nippon Life insurance, IIMS, TCS participate in placement. The average salary offered is around 3. 5 Lakhs.
