Course Curriculum Overview :

There are no industrial visits for us at my college. They teach us how to get more marks only. There is no enough practical knowledge of the course. They teach something and at very next day they conduct tests. these tests are not at least related to what they taught.

Placement Experience :

Yes, there are lots of companies that are coming for placement and the placement side of our institute is well and good as I heard. Surely our institution takes several measures to ensure the preparation of the students for the placement season.

College Events :

Varnam,asthoura, rivals, hostel day,onam celebrations. In varnam event playback singer Nithya shouree, cook with komali pugal,kalakapovadhu yaaru T Saravana Kumar has come as chief guest. Asthoura event is for freshers in our college. Onam celebration goes crazy on our campus with Kerala drums and dance. Rivals event is for mechanical students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

They never show transparency in fee-breakdown. They get 13,000 as admission fees alone previously. Then they charge 80,000 rupees for tuition fees. Then the hostel fee is 75,000 rupees. They took the fine illegally and calculate that amount as a breakage fee.

Alumni/Alumna :

There are alumni meet at my college. But it was held without juniors. So we don't have any interaction with anyone.

Admission :

I choose this course because everyone says B.Tech IT is the easiest money earning department than other courses. I choose this institution because it is in Coimbatore and my friend suggested that. To admit in this college, there are only a few steps 1:go to the college 2:tell them that you want to join this institution 3:fill out the profile and forms 4:pay the admission fee.

SRM UNIVERSITY- THE GOOD AND THE WORSE

Placement Experience:

The placement here is pretty good , we can get internships from 3 rd year onwards but the placement is after 4th year . The highest package offered here is 1.08 cpa The average package offered here is 6 lpa And if you want to get a good enough package here you will habe to study. Hard and be productive in coding it will be best if you maintain a higher cgpa than 8 . Many companies come here like amazon, google, tcs and many more.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

Now the syllabus is changed and it is relevant . The duration for preparing for exams and difficulty level are okay manageable . Elective exams will be there , which can be selected by the students . during the cat exam , we will have 2 exams on the same day and will have a holiday for the next exam .

Navigating Rec

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Artificial Intelligence and data science as I was veey much interested to learn about AI and I believe that this course has a lot of scope outside. In my college they do provide a good curriculum for this course that teaches things from the basic to advanced level. The difficulty level of exams is a bit high sometimes but if we maintain a good score overall it will be easy to pass.
