XISS -An Embark towards your Professional World

Remarks :

It's one of the best colleges in India for the specialization in hour with the bestcROI one can get. The only negative remark I would like to give for is the infrastructure of the college which is not that great.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Being a hour student i am preety much satisfied with the course ciricullam of my stream, since hour of this college is known for its firm and strong holiding in Labour Laws concepts, the course ciricullam does the complete justification, apart from this you also have certain subjects that are related to understanding the societal structure and also giving one opportunity of practical expisure to deal with humans and understanding their human behaviors and psychology by a subject called social field work, which turns individual to be empathetic in most situations rather than sympathetic. Apart from this you will also get the chance to visit companies during the Industrial Visit in which you can get the practical exposure and get the chance to interact with corporates from various domains. Talking about exams structure, over here you have a trimester system and in 1 year you have to study all the mgmt related subjects being offered by the college but in second year you can go for electives and get your own tailored made ciricullam for yourself, it's just that you have to maintain certain credits each trimester wise, so you have to select subjects accordingly.

College Events :

Various events are celebrated in my college to start with you have Freshers, than college fest, apartvfrom this various Competitions like debate, Case Study on Business Issues are also organized by various socities of college. Further you have conferences, IR Conclaves, sprts fest and farewell.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is designed in such a manner that if one is looking in terms of ROI this is the best choice to go with. The tution fees for the year 2018-20 is near about 8lpa and un addition to this you have to pay hostel fees near about 12000 for 6 months, that may vary as per the rooms like for 4 seater room it might be little less than 1 seater room. Apart from this you need to pay for mess monthly which is approximately 3000. Apart from this you have to pay for IV tour nearvabout 20k. So overall it best in terms of ROI.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For hour top 5 students best in academics and extracurriculars are given a scholarship of worth Rs. 1 lakh by Maruti Suzuki in collaboration of XISS. Apart from that there are certain fee waivers for the students of reserved categories.

Campus Life :

Plenty number of extracurricular activities are being organized to name few, case study competition, debate, sports meet, business quizes etc. You have personality grooming classes as well for the students to build up confidence in them and make them corporate ready.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is very normal infrastructure wise, it not at all fancy, infact the building is quite hold so you might face certain difficulty in infrastructure but overall it's so so. Hostel fees is near about 12000 for 6 months for 4 seater room. It may vary a little with 2 seater or single seater room.

Alumni/Alumna :

XISS is known for its alumini network, we have our alumini with very prestigious companies at very senior level positions like ChourO or Head ofHuman Resources Department. And yes most of the aluminis are generous and of great help.

Admission :

You need to appear for MBA entrance exam that are CAT, CMAT Or XAT and on the basis of the score you can apply for this college, generally the cutoff fir all the entrance exams for general is 70 Percenile and 50 percentile for reserved category. Once you are thourough the first stage, you receive call from the college for GD and PI round and also WAT round. Initially you have to appear for WATvfirat followed by GD then you go for the PI round. And after that if you get selected you will ge informed via mail and also your name will appear in the Merritt list decided on the official website of XISS.

Faculty :

We have a faculty with great experience and congnizence, who believe in imparting knowledge thourough partical exposures via conducting cade studies, presentation, role play and etc. We have a faculty from diverse background and all arevexperts in their fields.

Placement Experience:

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies
