Remarks :
The only negative remark is that there is a Political Environment here and when I say it I mean Student Politics. The Positive remark is teachers are good here so if you'll work on yourself then good opportunities are always waiting for You.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum is Good here not too hectic. You'll get enough time to focus on your further plans regarding Research and NET examination.A regular study of about 4 hours is sufficient for MSc. It's a two year course and it is divided in Four semesters.Each semester will be of 500 marks which will carry 400 marks of theory and 100 marks for practical examination.In 400 marks of theory there will be four papers of 100 marks each and in those 100 marks 40 marks will be for internal assessment and 60 marks will be for External Examination conducted by Allahabad University.
Placement Experience :
Azim Premji Foundation and Few other companies visit here to recruit students specially for teaching purpose. No internship is not provided here in any course they have different ideas regarding things to be done here.
College Events :
There are several seminars organized here throughout the year regarding Psychological Wellbeing, Use of Chemistry in Daily Life, Environment and Economics and many other events like this. Holi, Diwali and various other Festivals too are celebrated here and there are almost all the students involved in them and it's really big.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is okay here for a self financed course like MSc and for other courses the fee structure is similar to the fee structure of Allahabad University. In Allahabad University students just pay 1700 for one year MSc Chemistry course but here as this course is self financed so We have to pay 20000.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship provided by Government name Dashmottar and there is a society named Kayashtha Pathshala in my college which organize a General Awareness test every year and students who came first, second and third are awarded with a handsome amount of money.
Campus Life :
There is an annual inter departmental sports meet organized here. Gender ratio is good here and Girls too get equal opportunities in every field. There are various other societies in my college which works on social issues like Gender equality, Poor student welfare and others. There is too much Politics here and elections are celebrated here like Festivals every year.
Alumni/Alumna :
My seniors were helpful to me providing me notes, some practical stuff and all the previous year papers and telling me about what should be my approach towards examination and that's what I guess is important for any student.
Admission :
I got admission here by clearing the entrance test conducted by University of Allahabad and I opted Chemistry as a discipline coz I Love Chemistry and it connects directly to us human body and our surrounding our environment so I love it.For seeking admission here You just need to have command over Chemistry and General Awareness.There will be 50 question from both of these and when I've given entrance then the questions carried equal marks but now the pattern is changed and questions particularly from your discipline will be of 4 marks each and General Awareness questions will be of 2 marks each.
Faculty :
Faculty here are highly qualified and have a great experience in teaching and are very helpful regarding anything be it problems regarding your course or your life. After qualifying NET or CRET examination one can also opt to do Phd under his/her favorite teacher.Phd course is newly started here but soon they are going to make it big in that too.
